I thought those small boos at the start were directed at LvG. Match goers couldn't even manage that
A kid ran on near the tunnel, got a cheer. Stewards grabbed him and there was argy bargy with his dad, that's what the burst of booing was for. The players and staff in the centre circle would have thought it was booing for lvg getting the mic, but it wasnt. Spirits were good due to the second half

last thing he says on the mic is next year we see each other again. Also I was at the game and right before he picked the mic up there was an incident with a kid running on the pitch and stewards grabbing him. that's what the initial booing was, did people see that?
Are you wumming?

Bullsh*t. The boos started immediately after Van Gaal's name was announced.

45 minutes of reasonably decent football out of 1710 (just the home league games) and all is forgiven Louie :wenger::lol:

He would have said to the crowd see you next season if he was so sure …

Dunno, too much been read into that for me, anyway he said in his presser that he expects to be there next season, United should hang their heads in shame leaving the fans hanging like this, any others top club would have had him out by now, but still we wait...

My speakers are terrible but to me he sounds like Inspector Kemp from Young Frankenstein.

Louis van Gaal

Asked if he was confident he would still be the United manager next season, Van Gaal said: “Yes. Because I have signed a three-year contract.

“Of course [it is a step backwards] because our aim in the first year and also the second and the third shall be the Champions League. It is the highest level and a club like Manchester United has to play at that level but there are more clubs that want to play at that level and you have seen that.

“You can also say that one penalty in a certain game has been very important to us [having missed out on goal difference]. Today we didn’t receive a penalty and in the Leicester game we didn’t receive two penalties.

“We need luck and I cannot say we had too much luck this season but that is not the only reason. We did not create too much. Defensively we are one of the best teams but attacking wise we have to improve.

“It is always possible [to win the title next season] because [champions] Leicester City was more or less a relegation team. We are fourth [last season] and fifth this. But in sport nothing is normal. You have to show it and fight for it.”

He's on a three year contract, he's best mates with Woody, the Glazers they know nothing about football...........

“You can also say that one penalty in a certain game has been very important to us [having missed out on goal difference]"

You could also say, that having missed out on goal difference, the fact we barely scored more goals than Sunderland is absolutely crucial.

I just hope the club know the strength of feeling against Louis staying, he has just about killed my love for the game this season, and the thought of been put through it again next season just doesn't bear thinking about, even more so because the light at the end of the tunnel would be Giggs.

He said expectations were too high and then 10 minutes later he says we could win the league next season. If only we hadn't been robbed of 16 penalties, we'd have won the goal difference!
