Hopefully this'll be the last time we see Father Jack and Dougal in the OT dugout.

The lack of anything about next season in his speech was telling.

He's gone.

That was my immediate thought too. I was expecting a we will be stronger next year or something along those lines but he kept it short and sweet.

"Expectations too high"

"Team in transition"

Seriously, the fans are as much to blame for letting the club get away with this transition excuse.

Bit of a lame post match interview. No interesting questions asked really.

Complaining about not having fast attackers. Saying when everyone was fit, we were first in the league.

Got told about the boos from the fans. Says expectations of the fans are too high as we are in transition.

Corporate censorship. How long can the club expect us to buy into the illusion that everything's fine?

Of course they realise that the vast majority of fans don't think everything's fine. They're still going to remove anything which directly criticises the company or its owners though.

It's really not that much of an outrage that an inflammatory banner was removed.

He certainly doesn't sound positive about next season when asked

The fecking guy, expectations to high.. The old "when everyone was fit we were top like 30 games ago", just please fecking leave.

I've wanted a change since halfway through the season but I'd rather we didn't boo the manager. I'd rather direct that towards the decision makers at the club because they are the ones who have fecked things up since SAF left. I've hated these past few years watching United but I think he's done his best if that's not good enough they have to make a change. Hopefully we can win the FA Cup, he goes out on a high and we bring in Mourinho.

Hopefully this'll be the last time we see Father Jack and Dougal in the OT dugout.

If LVG and Giggs are Jack and Dougal, does that make Ed Woodward Ted? And is Fergie Bishop Brennan?

That sky interview just then was jaw dropping. The fans expectation levels are too high????? feck off you Dutch prick!!

Every time he opens his mouth he proves he should not be Man Utd manager. Every time! If we sunk to his expectations we'd be happy to be top half.

I wish our league position was as high as our expectations.

Shreeves going in with two feet.

"You got booed. Do you understand that?!"

Louis says the fans are expecting too much

Twat saying fans expectations too high.

LVG saying that the fans expectations are too high.

Seriously, what the hell is wrong with him. EVEN if he is right I'd rather have a deluded manager with high expectations crash fantastically after giving it his all.

That man who told Scholes to shut up and BELIEVE is now complaining that expectations are too high

Just boot this mangled Sharon Osbourne lookalike out now, those expectation comments are the kind of small time shit you expect from Moyes, feck off.

That slimy cnut.

All magnanimous when addressing the fans then goes and says that afterwards. Disgraceful.

Sorry for expecting us to score more goals than Sunderland Louis. Sorry for expecting us to not have the most backpasses in the league. Sorry for expecting us to score more goals than we concede away from home. Sorry for expecting us to finish in the top fecking four having spent £250m. Sorry for expecting us to get out of the CL group stage against PSV and Wolfsburg. Sorry for expecting us to occasionally score in the first half at OT.

In a season where Leicester win the league, the expectations of the fans are too high when more entertaining football and a comfortable 4th place finish probably would have left us content. He's lucky our expectations dropped so much.

Finishing 5th and having one of our worst league goal scoring records in lord knows how long.

Louis says the fans are expecting too much

And there you have it right there.
LVG believes that MUFC are a 5th place club...that's what fans should accept.
Why are fans applauding him. It makes no sense.

He thinks he's excusing himself by endlessly mentioning injuries. Does he not realise that makes him accountable via the way he stripped the squad and made it unable to cope should injuries arise?

Also, he's not doing himself any favours by basically saying he can't get results without better players in a season where Leicester won the league, and especially at a club where SAF got so much out of some who were hardly world beaters.

He's stitched himself right up there.

He has been a big disappointment during his tenure; we really need to part company because the relationship is toxic.
