I want him to stay, those fans at the match tonight deserve another year of this loon. It's ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong I want him gone as much as the next man but don't think that was the right time to boo him.

It's a damn good job we have a cup final next week but this is a pretty sad end to the season. Looking at him and the squad almost reluctantly trudging around a half empty Old Trafford is a painful sight, this isn't how our season is ever supposed to end.

Anyone else feel a bit sorry for him there?

Not a bit, he was trying to guilt the fans into cheering by saying we gave unconditional support, I'll always support the team unconditionally but not LVG, he needs to see sense.

If you're waiting for him to see sense you'll be waiting a bloody long time. His ego is cataclysmicly big. He's such a cock.

I turned it off before his speech, I want him to leave but I would have felt sorry for him if he was being booed during his speech.

You can't actually be surprised by the fans. You don't need to be Mystic Meg to of predicted loads would leave and the fans that stayed would be apathetically polite. That banner sums up OT.

He thanked fans for their unconditional support... Don't know what planet the guy is from and on.

Their support has been unconditional. I'm not entirely sure what he said that was wrong. But then I've been thinking that for the majority of his tenure.

When is the right time Carlsen?
I don't know to be honest but it just didn't feel right seeing a 64 year old man stood in the pissing rain in an empty stadium being booed. Maybe I'm going soft.

Deservedly booed. I don't feel sorry for him: it comes with the job and he knows that

To the team, yes. To him, no. Any other person I'd have given the benefit of the doubt and assumed he recognised the difference but not LVG. You're right though he didn't say anything he shouldn't have and probably couldn't have said much else.
