Seems to be a lot of rumours doing the rounds today that this cretin is staying.

FML :(

Yeah it's all very worrying. We're passing up on Mourinho for us to stay another season with a manager who has failed hard the past season and is retiring in a year. The mind boggles.

This is the reason why I'm leaning towards us getting beaten by Crystal Palace in the final.

Van Gaal receives LMA backing
Louis has been handed some support from League Managers Association chief executive Richard Bevan.

“Looking from the outside, and speaking to Louis van Gaal at our conferences, he is a very impressive man,” he told Sky Sports.

“He is a man of 14 trophies, three titles in different countries, and immense experience in the Champions League.

“If I was Manchester United, I would be looking to see how I can embrace his experience and make sure the likes of Ryan Giggs and the backroom staff are benefiting in the next 12 months.
“He is one of the most talented and technically astute coaches in the world.”

Shut up you pillock.

And that is a position that you should never be put in mate. The board will be an absolute laughing stock if they stick with him.

Feck off, he's shown to be out of his depth, this public backing will do him more harm than good.

I'm not a fan of booing but we've seen nothing with all the money he's spent. Over 250m down the line and we've regressed!

Just watched big Pete laying into our shite football on sky, said we've bored him to death:lol:
Manchester Utd legend Peter Schmeichel has said that club has been pulled backwards and that the style of play has “bored him to death”.

Critics have lamented manger Louis van Gaal’s style as unattractive and not as fluid as the Man Utd sides of old and the former goalkeeper agrees with this.

Schmeichel said to Sky Sports: “Manchester United – a club that love and have followed since I was a kid – have bored me to death this season.

“We are one of those clubs that has been dragged in completely the wrong direction. We never used to play football the way we play now.

“We never played for 1-0 and then defend. We always went for the second goal and the third.”

He was also scathing in his assessment that the new era of Man Utd have undone the foundations laid by previous managers Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Matt Busby. He feels the ethos has been washed away.

“All the hard work that Sir Alex put in to recover what was there from Sir Matt Busby has been undone in a very short period of time. I, as a fan, want to be winning but to entertain equally as much too. I want exciting players.

“I read about Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the newspapers. I would love for him to come to Manchester United, I’ve said this for a long time. He was born to play for Manchester United.

“He’s like an Eric Cantona, who can inspire all the guys in the dressing room but also the supporters. That’s what it’s all about. It’s not about having a Sunday nap at Old Trafford.”

I hope the match day fans don't act as classlessly as some are calling for. The board know what we want, they know the strength of feeling about it, whether they chose to do anything about it or not is not going to be changed by booing or 90 minutes of chanting for Mourinho. All that will achieve is making everything involved look like a bunch of wankers.

Isn't Schmeichel a club ambassador too? He stopped just short of saying LVG is a cretinous bellend.

We should just hire someone else, have them come in and do everything while not ever bothering to announce it or tell LVG. It would be weirdly hilarious. Don't even give him the dignity of being sacked and getting to spout more nonsense.

It's this kinda of faux class and passive nonsense that has seen Woodward and co piss on the fans since Christmas by keeping this utter joke of a manger in charge.

No its not. Do you think it would have gone any differently if he had been booed (which, btw, he has been)? The board do things their own way for their own reasons, like it or lump it 90 minutes of acting like idiots isn't going to change their decision making.

Did it help matters when those idiots chartered a plane to demand Moyes gets sacked? Did it feck. It just makes everyone involved look stupid.

I think its utter rubbish to think 90 minutes of booing and chanting for Mourinho would do nothing, it would be a clear signal from the match day fans, once and for all, that they've had enough of this joke we have in charge.

It's the very last chance fans have to let their voice be heard loud and clear, they need to bring the venom and leave no doubt in anyone's mind.

So you think all the planning for next season would change just like that? And I'm the one talking rubbish?

If the board stick with LVG next season (they won't, but lets pretend that they will) they do so in the knowledge that he's not wanted because they believe its the right decision. They're not going to change that on a whim.

Obviously the decision has already been made, LVG is gone, but if people want to voice their displeasure after this disgrace of a season, who am I to say they shouldn't?

What a spoilt JCL!

What is the LMA chief supposed to say? It's association for managers. Of course he is going to back LVG.

Richard Bevan = MCFC supporter?

He can keep his mouth shut and refuse to comment.

What the feck is this

Most backpasses in the league and less goals than Sunderland. Real technical astuteness.

Fields a full lineup in a meaningless game while Palace rest. This guy needs a bollocking the entire 90.

Yeah as fans we definitely need to be more demanding. The fans expectations have completely fallen through the floor since SAF left, and it has the likes of Moyes and LvG thinking they are doing a good job and have all the time in the world.

I really hope from here on out, Woodward has managers signing contracts saying they can be sacked at any point after it is mathematically impossible to win the league or they've exited the CL before the SF's. Our expectations as a club should be reflected in these contracts and it might allow us to rescue 4th place if things go awry like they did with Moyes. Putting 4th place as the bare minimum expectation is asking for trouble.

Is it genuinely possible for us to be become a bigger joke than what we are right now? This egomaniac is doing what he likes and the powers above are letting him get away with it. This is just so sad man, winning this game with the full strength team means nothing to anyone related to United apart from the guy making these decisions.

Look at that beaver.

This, it's basically the same as your mother saying you're the most handsome and cleverest boy in the whole world.

This is like your mother saying "if I was Emilia Clarke, I would marry my son and conceive him a dozen children." Emilia Clarke would tell you, just as our club should tell LVG "GET OUT".
