Jesus we couldn't even win the possession cup, what a crock of shite.

It wont really achieve much. It will spite him, but so what. Two more games, one meaningless too, and this reign of terror is over.

I think what would give everyone a good morale boost is announcing that he will be leaving after the final. Right now , they are fans that are petrified that him winning the cup might get him a reprieve.
Id like them to arrange it so that (if we win the FA Cup) when Rooney goes up to collect it, just as he is lifting it above his head a message pops up out of it like a jack in the box, saying "Goodbye Van Gaal, welcome Jose Mourinho" or something like that. Not sure how that could be done logistically. Maybe some kind of firework could fire out of it and write it in the sky. Anything that somehow merges the euphoria of winning the cup with the even greater ecstasy of confirming that this bloody ordeal is over.

Never read that extract before but Zlatan:lol:

Absolutely bossed LVG there, there's having a massive ego due to knowing how good you are like Zlatan or having a big ego because you're a pompous, stubborn ass like LVG.

I know we'd be getting him well past his best but Zlatan would be great to see, barely any of our players has that arrogance about them any more, it's contagious and gives the crowd confidence rather than the sense of fear and frustration around OT before games these days.
Now we know why our team are having so many problems and why a lot of coaches and players don't like him.

Who finished 19th and 20th in chances created? Surely Villa and someone else? Newcastle or Norwich perhaps?

It looks like Wigan's stats from a few years ago. Lots of possession, but got hammered a lot and didn't do anything with it.

Wigan!

It will give me peace, he has spent the last two years insulting our intelligence.

2nd in posession, 18th in chances created

Attack, attack, attack indeed.

WBA according to my stats (Opta). Mind you we are 9 behind 17th (Watford) and 11 behind 16th (Norwich) with a game in hand so who knows after tonight....

Oh I thought zlatan.

More like him than the opposite to be completely fair. Many didn't like SAF too When he managed

80% of Redcafe and er... every United fan I know in Manchester.

My next door neighbour who's a City fan likes him though.

I gave him a by-ball for the first season with regard to the style of play etc but this just sums up how badly he has failed. There is no defence for him, even KinderCrazyBiscuits or whatever the user is called can't defend those numbers.

Only that Moyes happened, he could possibly be the worst managerial appointment I've seen in terms of a teams output with the resources at his disposal.

Most backward passes?! Feck me. Take a bow Louis - top stuff.

 that's what we're calling him from now on.

Lots of people hated SAF. Especially when he still managed. Managers like Benitez, Keegan, wenger (before he became irrelevant) and he fought with Keane, beckham, Stam, ince, kusczak, RvN, Heinze, Rooney twice.

Over 20 years of career you will find a handful of people you would have pissed off. I am waiting for lvg to be gone but frankly i was surprised in January. I thought we would never recover from the December part of the season and that he lost the dressing room like Moyes did but players seem to be still playing for him.

By that you mean shit?

I think that may have been Giovanni. Anyway some others....Luca Toni, Lucio and Ribery.
Either way there are players who speak highly of van Gaal and those who don't, so i don't think it's a one way street of him being an evil prick towards his players. Kluivert, the de Boer twins, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Robben and Blind have spoken positively about him as well. He's that type of character - some will like him others won't.

I'm sure Wayne Rooney will always speak highly of him.

Van gaal is a poor version of Jake White and Jake White is hated by a lot of people.

Yeah maybe. Once mourin Lost the dressing room at Chelsea quite a few people didn't even bother playing well or at least pretending to play well. On the contrary guys like DDG martial smalling blind even Rooney (who had a good run in Jan) played well. Even Herrera who is supposedly unjustly benched or whatever still seem to try.

We got to the FA cup finals with him. It was not like he was actively trying to feck us up.
Wanting him gone is one thing, hating his presence is no good.

Hmmm. There's a thin line between the two though and I can easily understand those who have crossed over from disliking him and wanting him gone to actively hating each additional minute he's around...

I don't hate him but he should be fired before the Bournemouth game.

I dont hate him, but I do seriously dislike him and the way he goes about his business and I agree he should have been fired before Bournemouth.

Probably, but i wonder if van Gaal was under any external pressure to play Rooney. Btw, i'm npt asking that as a way of defending van Gaal's poor United tenure.

Is his Montpellier team still ten man rugby like his Brumbies team did?

It's the same rugby but the pack is so powerful that the backs have a very easy life and they have more freedom. Personally, I like it.

Ironic, my liverpool and arsenal mates love him and hope we would give him an extension.

Anyone know what ever happened to that guy?
I genuinely think he was one of the worst posters to ever grace the forum.
