Say what you want about LVG, individually our passing is a thousand times better than what it was before he took over. I remember back in the Fergie days when we would get passed off the pitch by Barca and all of us screaming out for better link up play. We are almost there in that regard.

Mate you are kidding right? We passed well today because Leicester allowed us to pass and they sat really deep today and counter attacked. Same with crap teams who beat us in Dec/Jan. The teams that press and pass well themselves did well against us (Liverpool in Europa and Arsenal when they murdered us).

Still won't be sacked until after FA Cup final.

Oh yeah, I know that but I just think the board really cared about top four and that might have saved him. I don't think winning the FA Cup will help him out too much in that regard.

Did Ranieri say to him "You are doing a fantastic job"?! Stop feeding his ego!

Dutch outlets say LVG is staying, Portugese outlets say Mourinho is coming.

If Wooodward keeps LVG there should be protests really. Conte, Poch, Pep, Klopp, Wenger in the league next season and us languishing with LVG is intolerable.

Not making top 4 isn't a good enough excuse? Outrageous.

Have zero confidence in Woodward. Are we even a top team anymore? If we don't make top 4 and LVG is still around that will tell you about our ambitions.

Sick of this. His post-match conference will probably be him arguing journalists again as it always has to be about him. Can't wait for this season to end.

3rd under Sir Alex was considered a bad season.
Finishing 2nd, one point behind Chelsea, or on goal difference behind City, was considered by many to be disastrous. Really goes to show how standards have fallen.

Moyes is still up there, LVG staying would be the worst thing we could do.

Moyes was a bad choice as well. We have done a lot wrong after SAF retired. The sad thing is we could have been a lot better off if we had sacked him in december.

Its like any time things are going well for us, like the first half, he does something in the second to make it shit again.

Got to go after the Cup final. I refuse to believe Woodward is daft enough to let this rock on into next season.

We are still mathematically in with a chance at top 4 so he stays until the end of the season. If he is our manager next season our club and board are impotent and all need replacing themselves.

Get to a game and do it then.

Was expecting that response.

I'm just surprised that our view on van Gaal isn't reflected in the crowd's reaction to him. Polite applauding, waving and picture taking and barely any boos when he walks down the touchline.

We're not really putting any pressure on Woodward are we?

To be fair to him, he's been Manchester United's 2nd best manager over the last 30 years.

Wasn't Big Ron the manager this time 30 years ago? He's got a shout at that spot.

Sad times, one draw in each respective season and we would have won 7 in a row....

Agreed.

He'll be gone after the Cup Final whatever happens IMO so you've only got three weeks or so of him to endure.

Just want the FA Cup Final to happen now so he can manage it and go. Any other "top" club would have sacked him by now.

I'm pretty sure Woodward knows how most fans feel. Plus they keep extending the season ticket renewal deadline, so they know the prevailing mood. What happens in the stadium won't matter I don't think.

Getting Fellaini off the pitch but in the same time maintaining the same tactic of pointless crossing this time to Juan Mata... No effin words.

Back to Moyes era.

The tactics are wrong.

The issue for me is great leicester sit back all game, but toothlessly crossing the ball isn't the answer.

There needs to be some kind of creative player in the midfield to create chances, what Mahrez did at the other end showcases that.

United were predictable, pass out wide, cross in box, rinse, repeat.

Valencia the same player he always is, square up player try to accelerate past and smash it.

Where is is the running at players? having a go at someone? buy Griezmann up top, buy Isco, buy Mahrez I don't care but there needs to be that kind of player, drop Rooney to CM.

Please sell Fellaini, look at replacing Valencia too, the squad needs to be addressed to actually have the right tools for any opponent.

I disagree United were the dominant team today, they were the team with most of the ball true, but they didn't really do much.

Well he won't win last year's league but next year with a difference maker in the final third and a metronome in midfield we could be at the top of the league, it's not an impossible task for Van gaal.

It is an impossible task.
We had Angel Di Maria for crying out loud. He benched him. Then sold him.
If he bought Messi, he'd have him defending and if he didn't defend (because he wanted to score a goal), L.Messi would be on the bench.
LVG cannot get better than 4th place - he doesn't have any idea how to win the league.

Think CAF will be happy with us failing to reach top 4 (thats 100% now i think),which will lead to him being sacked also 100% i think.

Did he just say grabbing people's hair is okay during sex?!:lol:

He also played ADM in different positions all the time.

"Only in sex - masochism - that someone won't react when you grab their hair".

Really? I need to see a video.
He slurred his words, but I'm pretty sure he said it's okay in 'Masochistic Sex' or something along those lines. The post-match interview was just on SSN.
