So one thing that always gets me to chuckle now is LVG says he likes to sit more than get out of his seat but the time he does choose to get out of his seat led to this moment!

I look at that picture and as a United fan I kinda feel soiled! That was unquestionably hilarious but is this what we should be looking for from our manager?

It was a one off comedy prat-fall (and he's still clutching his pen and his pad I see). Perhaps a whole season of these Norman Wisdom touchline antics might have me reconsidering … but he can still not leave quickly enough for me personally!

After watching Simeone on the touchline v Bayern tonight I see what energy and emotion can be passed on to a team regardless of what LvG feels about the matter (have to add that Simeone should really release a fitness video: Diego's 90 Minute Technical Area Work-Out)

This happened end of last season.

Do shit for first 3/4 of season, play good football in last 1/4 to convince board and fans to let him have another season in charge.

We're getting conned. More of for 3/4 of next season. In fact, 4/4 because his contract is up and he doesn't gaf.

We didn't even get a good final 1/4 last season.

We collapsed after we beat City, won 1 in 5 and couldn't score. At the time it was sort of ignored, but it was definitely a little taste of things to come.

3/4 of the season seems the board are always drunk, they pay attention in the final 4/4 season, they think yea he is doing ok, no wonder he could still be in a job next season. Seems VG's entire career has been riding off the coat tale of those 3 wins last season over liverpool, spurs and city

this - get rid

Apologies if already posted, Manchester United "Fan of the Year" (sponsored by Chevrolet in case the video isn't clear enough) meets LVG and Giggs on a tour of Carrington.

Excruciating stuff, particularly when Louis puts it to him several times that he doesn't like him as the manager.

Oh, and LVG is wearing socks and sandals - he's got to go.
Sweet Jesus that was horrendous. The poor man.

Pretty awkward, aye.

That sort of thing usually is, of course, but this goes beyond the norm. General akwardness combined with...I don't even know what it is. Poor bastard handled himself reasonably well, actually. A lesser man would've simply made a run for it.

No wonder some players feel uncomfortable in his presence. It looked more like CSI interrogation than a prize for winning a contest.

It also looked like Giggsy was just there to laugh at the situation.

That was an okay video.
It gives an insight of what a player will go through, when he is asked to visit the Headmaster's office. Especially for a youth player, it must be terrifying.
LVG certainly has a commanding presence, but its a shame that he can't do better than 4th place and is unable to inspire players to operate at higher levels.
Ryan Giggs - I am not 100% sure if he is able to speak...but I shall trust those around him that he is not a "mute".

"Martin...you are fan of me?"

:lol::lol::lol:

LvG has been reading the CAF, he is getting the message!

I am sure he can say "Was that alright for you".

I think it was an awkward combination of LvG's cockiness combined with the marketing people pleading with him 10 different times to make the poor sap feel welcomed. They probably wanted to give him an experience that a new signing would receive when he first walks into Carrington and meets the manager but failed miserably because regular blokes don't have the self-assuredness of pro footballers and LvG is an entirely different animal himself.

"I think we have to beat Leicester because we are still in the race for the first positions so we have to beat them"

Seems we got it all wrong, there's plenty of first positions to go around

To be fair, that might be language issues.

Absolute fruit cake. The squad is full of champions.

Van Gaal : "The players we are now playing are not used to being champions. De Gea was never a champion."

Please say he has been misquoted .

That's pretty fecking shocking

When did we start taking the daily mirror seriously?

He probably isn't fully up to speed that 7 of his current squad have won the title, and 3 of them including DDG have won it just the once. So the comment about not being used to being champions is not exactly too far off. The rest is just knowledge of individual players title totals. Hardly something to bash him for.

It is IMO

A manger should know his players inside out and he should know who he is dealing with when preparing them for games or a season ahead. People who have been there and done that would surely need different approach or handling than players who have never won anything in their career.

Clearly the language is a barrier, but he does have a bit of a habit of throwing the players under the bus to protect his own reputation

I'm dissapointed he doesn't even know that much about our recent history. I guess he didn't pay much attention to the premier league before he came
