Like it says in the article, views of the men in power might change should we fail to win the FA Cup and/or qualify for the CL. I'm sorry even if we pip an imploding Arsenal or City to 4th and win the FA Cup he shouldn't be here another season. I'll lose all faith in the club if that happens and it will really ruin the summer transfer window for me.

much like the companies who threatened to pull their business from the American states that wanted/have imposed draconian anti-gay laws, perhaps we should hope adidas, chevrolet, et all will push the hand of woodward.

We need anti-LvG laws

Only when the flak starts to edge towards the board & owners will van Gaal, like Moyes before him, be deemed expendable.

I can't beieve how many people are so surprised by this. It's seemed clear for a long time that Van Gaal is staying. If we were losing massively on revenues, if the fans seemed very unhappy, maybe I could see him being ousted, but the club are clearly very reluctant and he's clearly been told he's staying. It's going to send us into the Premier League wilderness of course, but they're not seeing that at all.

But it has though hasn't it? Isn't everyone having a pop at Woodward all the time? I don't mean us but the press as well

I don't care, I can't hide it anymore. I'm actively rooting against us in the hope Van Gaal will be sacked. 4th is fecking nowhere, happy to accept 5th-7th if it means getting Mourinho or someone of similar calibre. Not fecking Giggs. 4th is the same as anything in the top half IMO. Who gives a feck about missing out on Europe for a year. With this manager, we'd make a complete pig's ear of it anyway.

Nowhere near as much as van Gaal personally though.

As good as confirms he is leaving then.

All jokes a side, if this happens then OT will be horrible place next season.

It will make a mockery of sacking Moyes too.

LVG has completely failed, Moyes did too. Why treat one so different from the other?

Balague is shameless. Im quite impressed at how he flops from one stance to another and retains his smarmy demeanor

It is horrendous that the ineptitude of the board is making fans have to feel this way.

I'd gladly miss out on top four if it guaranteed that this absolute fraud was got rid of.

Really really worrying times. If the board don't get it right this summer we could be in real trouble.

How many seasons like this one before all of the super sized sponsorship deals start to dry up?

It is once again Time to wake up and smell the christmas pudding, the fans are tired of all the gaaltico talks.

Ballbag chatting shite as per usual.

No one outside of Spain gives him the time of day. About as many sources as Ducker, ie none.

I think the problem with that is he's managed to foster such animosity with the press that they attack him every chance they get instead of the board and he can then pass that off to Ed and company as them having a vendetta against him.

Is it just me that thinks this 'exclusive' is somewhat linked to Sky Sports saying PSG have made an approach for Mourinho? It's funny how Ballbag has been chatting for the last few months saying that Mourinho to United is very much on, and that Mourinho expects to be named manager, yet the day after Sky Sports release a story saying PSG have made contact, he does this exclusive interview and says in it that Mourinho has known for months that he's not getting the job? Proves he knows crap.

I honestly can't see van Gaal staying. This season has been a disaster and he's proved that he doesn't have a clue what he's doing anymore

If he is still our manager next season, it will be brutal. And if he stays and we have another season like this, I can't even imagine what'll happen.

I still think the Jose appointment is a done deal and all the media talk of Van Gaal remaining in office, provided he completes a top 4 finish of course, is absolute rubbish. Pure conjecture.

Jose Mourinho will be managing the club come the start of next season. I'll eat my hat if it doesn't happen.

Feck off Louis please for the love of God just feck off and never come back.

I can go another season for sure without winning trophies because we are not entitled but what we are entitled to as fans is to not have to watch this torturous shower of shite week in week out. I've frankly had an absolute tits full, I just pray we can win the cup playing the complete opposite way the manager tells them.

What's the point of getting 4th and playing in the CL next season if Van Gaal stays and we continually serve up shit football like this season?

On a positive note, only two more years maximum of seeing him sit on that dugout, if he lasts that long.

I'm getting more and more convinced that he's going to stay if he gets top 4 or the FA Cup now. It'll be like Rodgers for Liverpool this season, we'll give LVG another summer to waste money then end up sacking him like 2 months into the next season. Except we won't be lucky enough to have Klopp waiting on the sidelines to pick up the pieces.

I can't take another season of him being here, I just can't. Not only would it be another season of dreadful football while struggling to make top 4, it would also hurt our reputation and make us more unattractive in the transfer market (let's be honest which top player in their rightful mind would want to play for LVG now). We might as well have never sacked Moyes because LVG is pretty much the same, he just happens to have a better past resume.

Beginning to think we will make top 4 and win the cup. If that's the case, I can't see him getting sacked.

One.

I can't sit through another season of this shit under this arrogant dinosaur, Ballbag is hopefully just stirring.
