Ah that's interesting.... you could well be right...

So many people within the club with their own personal agenda's - no one probably gives a feck about our club except us fans..:(

Tell me about it mate. Really worrying times :(

Dwight pretty much begged Villa's chairman to let him leave Villa for United, even visiting the man's house; for that reason alone, you'd think they wouldn't want him as boss.
Ron Atkinson admitted he would have shot him if he had a gun, didn't he?

He's on talksport almost every week and it's positively cringeworthy how desperate he is to become their manager.

I don't pay too much attention to him so serious question - has Yorke ever managed anything anywhere?

Nope. Absolutely no managerial experience at all. Villa would be mad to appoint him.

He managed to avoid paying Katie Price child maintenance but that's about it.

I can see why him and Giggs are mates.
Tadders I loved this quote from MEN article:

"Ryan's got the United DNA," Solskjaer said. So has Fred the Red.":lol:

I don't mean to be bad but it was funny:D

It's more worrying that Jeremy Kyle has got Giggs' DNA.

Right then, who else has reached the point where they want us to lose in the FA Cup?

I'll get slaughtered for this, perhaps justifiably so, but as the game looms, the feeling of wanting us to lose is still there.

:(

If it guaranteed him being sacked straight after I'd take a loss for sure. But it won't happen.

I'm with you. The greater good and all that.

Seeing De Bruyne score yet another goal just reminds me how bad last summer's transfer window was by LVG. City bought a quality player that was proven to score and create goals to add to an attack of Silva and Aguero. We're playing Lingard, Mata and our youth team striker and wonder why we can barely muster a shot on goal.

Go check the De Bruyne transfer thread! Wouldn't be surprised if you wasn't in there saying, "not another number 10" let's not act like this was a popular decision.

Don't worry, we're not going to beat West Ham tomorrow. However, LVG will still be the manager come the weekend.

definitely in the same boat as you. at this point, i don't want us to do anything that will promote his cause. the man must leave.

I was in the newbies questioning those who thought we could win the league (and even CL) with our attacking players. I did want Pedro however, bullet dodged there (although he has outscored all our team except Rooney and Martial).

If it guarantees his sacking then yes, short term pain for long term gain!

No never , once I start to want us to lose games is the time I will give up on football for ever.
Yes I want him gone has bad as the next fan, but wanting to lose ! Sorry I just dont agree.

As Kluivert has pointed out, LVG sometimes struggles with older players who have developed their own unique style so I struggle to see De Bruyne slotting in the same manner. And who the hell do these modern professionals even think they are nowadays, with their individualism, their own carefully crafted styles and unique technique that they spent countless hours on the training ground developing? For the ship to sail, it needs all its mates pulling in the same direction. Its the reason Industrial factories work so well, since everyone knows their exact role and don't deviate from them. I like my hamburgers round. If some rebel in the Birds eye camp started shaping square shaped burgers and triangular fish fingers, I'd consider going vegan. And besides, if the players were expected to play like unique, creative individuals, how else would the likes of Ashley Young be able to slot seemlessly in at FB, CM LW, RW and CF? Could Enrique do that with Neymar? Hell no, because the demands in a non restrictive system are far too high. The beautiful thing about the philosophy is that its like a game of Subbuteo. Players can interchange position and you have the added excitement of never knowing what position your favourite player could turn up in next. Mike Smalling at CF could be a sight to remember.

The philosophy is beautiful to me. it's total football with a twist. Van Gaal is just ahead of his time. If you study the rules of netball, you'll see that players occupy certain zones like how Van Gaal has instructed his players. taken from the netball rulebook, "Only the GS and GA are able to score goals for your team. They must be wholly inside the goal circle to shoot." sound familiar? Van Gaal is no fool. He has been in the game a long, long time and senses a change coming. You wait and see. Mark my words. With all these new rules coming into football every few seasons, don't be too surprised to see professional footballers and netball players trading secrets. And then the next time you are at O.T. and see a beautifully crafted goal straight out of the netball playbook, you'll all have that light-bulb moment whilst whispering "thank you Louis" under your breath. And somewhere in the Portuguese Alrgarves, a red face, tulip headed man is basking in the sun on his inflatable water bed imprinted with the words philosophy. He has a wry smile on his face, as he was right all along.

When people say we've only scored 39 goals this season i'm surprised because it feels like 5 or 6 goals max.

I'm dreading watching the game tomorrow, united became like a visit to the dentist. Can't wait for this nightmare of a season to end and takes van gaal with it.

Enjoyed!

Trouble is this prat has basically made me give up on football, I can't even watch and enjoy other games these days as it just shows how fecked up we are at the minute so one loss against West Ham which will probably happen anyway really doesn't matter in the long run.
