Some really big dickheads in this thread. You're all going to look really dumb if we finish top 4 and have a magical transfer summer with some huge names.

We basically need to score 5-6 goals in every one of our remaining fixtures just to make our goal scoring stats for the season respectable.

The sooner this absolute waste of space manager fecks off the better.

People bang on about Mourinho being a negative coach, but his teams always score plenty of goals over a season.

Dickheads? No mate, just fans that are sick and tired of shit on a stick football every fecking game. The idea of having him in charge for another season when he's been an absolute failure is tipping people over the edge.

With van Gaal in charge It won't matter what player or players are bought in over the summer. His negative and antiquated tactics will mean we won't be "successful" until he fecks off.

Even just getting into the top 4 this season is a fairly average considering the money we've spent over the past few years. If that was the case, I'd at the very least expect it to be with a talent but inexperienced side that is slowly coming together while playing some excellent football. The football itself has been dire, and fans are well within their rights to be very pissed off at the state of affairs.

Sums things up perfectly.

Spot on.

I'd more than happily have Eddie Howe in charge of United. What he has done with that Bournemouth team has been incredible really. I've caught a fair few of their games this season and they are a very good side to watch.
(it is way to early obviously)

We have, however conceded the lowest amount of goals out of everyone bar Tottenham.
Put two and two together and you can see why people have constantly called us boring this season when we don't score many goals and don't concede many either.

 Yeah because top 4 is the dream and all those big names will be frothing at the gash to come to a club that only just scraped getting there

“Playing in the Champions League is very important for players,” conceded Van Gaal. “But I also think that Manchester United are big enough to attract top players. Of course qualifying for the Champions League would help me when I am speaking to players in the summer. It always helps.

“But I want to stress that Manchester United are such a big club, and our salaries are so good here, that a lot of players will come here even if we don’t qualify for the Champions League.”

Mate it doesn't matter how big a name joins us. LVG will "reduce" the abilities of that player.
LVG's tactic has the ability to make even Messi look ordinary.
Newly promoted Bournemouth have now scored more goals than us. That has to tell you something.

Yep, that's what I thought and it looks like he's pretty reassured that he's staying regardless of where we finish. If the money is coming in, the fans don't seem too upset and he says the right things then they'll keep him. Funny that he's talking transfers though, I'd love to know who he thinks he's going to attract. No top players are going to want to come here if they could go to a team in the CL who don't have a clown for a manager and play dull, unimaginative football.

next season isn't going to be pretty.....in every sense.

Indeed. Who needs CL football.
Slowly but surely, the fans are being trained to accept that we are not even a 4th place team, but hey, top players will still join us, so it's no bother.
