If he gets top 4, yes

And although I won't be jumping for joy for a 3rd year of lvg, I won't be overly upset. I'd be interested to see what he does

And of course it would mean no Jose, which will be like a mini trophy for me personally
If he's still here next season I'll sit in a corner and cry.

After banning @Acquire Me, obviously.

I'm not worried though, he's going.

Even if we do reach the 4th place, he should go. No Chelsea, no Liverpool, Arsenal being Arsenal, and with City struggling, we had to do better than this.
Not to mention the CL.

The man's squad selection is just so annoying. I agree that discipline is good for young players that get out of line but freezing out Januzaj and Pereira for an incident that happened since January is just dumb especially when you consider that if we were chasing the game today he would have resorted to Young, Fellaini and Valencia from the bench! His ego is just getting ahead of the team. What has Valencia and Rojo done to dislodge Varela and CBJ.

I've had enough of the man!

From Fergie's interview on Sky, I just got the feeling we are in for Pochettino. That smile and the "I am sure of it...." line was too much for my senses. :-)

What did he respond to? What was the question?

If LVG gets us Top 4 and wins FA Cup, I don't think he'll be sacked.
I think only top 4 may save his job.
Although want him gone, I'd have him to Mou anyday

Many on here will try and give him credit for playing our youth, but I will not because I believed he was fortunate that we had so many injuries that forced his hand.

However, I might give him credit with sticking with youth because he has not flushed out some of these players for the likes of high earning players like Fellaini, Young, Depay, etc. Even though, I expect Rooney to come back in and we did see CBJ replaced with Rojo.

Nevertheless, the performances of our youth really shows why I am not a fan of Mourinho being Van Gaal replacement, nor am I a fan of Van Gaal staying long term.

If the priority of the club is winning football matches and trophies then he must go - we are totally regressing and with the title virtually there for the taking this season we have missed a massive opportunity to restore the club to where it needs to be!

If the priority is more around signing up peanut butter partners and tyre partners and the rest of that bollocks then he will stay as the focus is not on the football results and performance. If those partners start to get itchy feet cos we are shit at winning football matches which we are then we might see some movement.

FWIW I must have had five or six season ticket holders say that they are not renewing if LVG stays!

I disagree to the point I can't give him credit for the youth, when he can't get a tune out of the more talented youngsters such as Depay, Januzaj, Perriera and even Phil flipping Jones (injures aside). He's just been lucky and I can't see him making the current break through youngsters better. Mourinho I can't speak on because he's never had worth while talent youngsters.

I don't care if we win every game from now to the end of the season he has to go in the summer, the football under him is fecking atrocious and soul destroying.

39 league goals in 31 games.

We are definitely not getting to 50.

Abysmal. A club of our stature should have a striker alone who hits near the 30 goal mark by the end of the season and our whole team struggles to get 50. Sad times

Can't see Pochettino leaving Spurs this summer - too soon - and I get the feeling that United have resolved to be loyal to Louis.

They may be right. He seems to be stabilising us, and is good for our future long term. Mourinho might quickly win a PL, but Van Gaal is, I'd argue, clearly better at leaving a sustainable legacy in terms of a functioning team with good prospects.

I keep trying to convince myself this is not the case. Deep down, I know I don't want Mourinho either.

How on earth have you come to that conclusion?

Pretty much my feelings on the matter.

We're winning these games in spite of his instructions rather than due to them.

Its been shit under LvG. People seem to forget the big picture and when he get a win, he is great again. Strange.

Does anyone in the world think he's great bar the fecking milkybar kid? I would imagine 99.99999% of our fan base want him gone ASAP. The man has done a terrible job and he really should have been sacked long before now.

The only legacy LVG will leave behind is one of absolute failure in every sense of the word.

SAF and yellowtie were discussing Spurs' success this season and SAF firmly laid the improvement in Spurs' fortunes, at the door of Poch. He was waxing lyrical about Poch, but felt that when the "big guns" come in for his services, that will be the end of Spurs' improvement. When asked whether the "big guns" were likely to come in for Poch, they both shared a smile and a giggle, then Fergie laughed out the words, "I am sure of it".

It was like that moment when you realise that the girl you have been chatting up, is well up for it....... in fact making it clear she is going to ride your bones whether you like it or not. That sort of knowing moment.

Did we create a single shot on goal today? From my seat it looked like the Everton lad kicked it off Martial's shin and in?

They all count and that but they've shipped loads of goals this season, we should have at least worked the keeper once or twice. Another one of those wins where walking out you just feel the awkward silence but nobody wants to say it because we got the 3 points to keep the pressure on West Ham and City.

We had 2 on target today. Can't remember the other (maybe it's that one tame Mata cross that slowly made it's way to the keepers hands?), but Martial's definitely came off him.

Your name makes sense now:lol:

Don't know what kind of birds you chat up but if they looked like that and smiled at me while sharing a giggle I'd be long gone.

You're just fussy!! :-)

I used to be married to a Ferguson, hence the name. After my divorce, the Admins refused to change it, despite how it hurts to be reminded of such a big financial loss. :-)

This guy is literally all the hope I have going for our club in the near future.

I am not going to let you down. I really mean it. The source are as good as it get.

Also, if you take a good look in what United as a club release, you will notice that LvG is not a big part of it, if any part of it. Thats not a coincidence.
