Because we may actually see how good our players are when given free reign to do what they do without the LVB cloud hanging over them which will help us deciding ins n outs.
 WHAT! So you had one whole season to decide who is good enough but no you will make your decision depending on the last 8-10 games of the season and some of which are tough away games?

Then just get Giggs in for a few months I guess. Might only be a short-term lift but it might be enough to get the FA Cup or steal 4th.
According to several reports in the media, Giggs doesn't want to take an interim manager's job. It's either full time, or none at all, so we can discount that option.
Ryan Giggs would have serious reservations about taking over as Manchester United manager on an interim basis for a second time, in the event that Louis van Gaal is sacked or resigns, if there was no promise of a permanent position.

Giggs is also understood to have misgivings about the prospect of serving as assistant to a third manager at Old Trafford should José Mourinho, the favourite, or another candidate be appointed as Van Gaal’s replacement.

Again it looks like he doesn't want the job if he is short term again.

In which case, why keep him on? If we're not appointing him as manager - and I hope we won't - and if it's true that he won't take over now and lead us until the summer, why keep him on? I don't want another manager to be told to have him as an assistant. If we get some top manager in he should have full control.

Tell him to feck off. This is no time to be sentimental. He aint ready and I can see another Moyes situation happening. Just stop fecking around so Fergie could still have 'control' over the club and hire Jose. End of story.

I used to have so much respect for van gaal even when i started to call for his head, but now it's all gone.

There's no shame in failing as a manager, it happens to everyone at some point, but at least have some dignity and acknowledge that this isn't working, have some self respect and resign.

Keane being naturally ruthless in his assessment but why not question LvG?

Hamman says "there's not too many teams left that Liverpool will be worried about" … I reckon that Dortmund will feck them up royally!

Probably thinks Ze Germans will roll over for their former Fuhrer. Little does he know that Bat-Reus don't give a feck. He just don't give a feck.

how about his final paycheck?

You seem to be wound up, which I can't blame you for as I am too but what I mean is, the longer the next manager has to assess the squad the better, surely you can see this?

Who do you hire for the remainder of the season? Mou said he will start only in the summer.

533 pages and he's still here!

He stated at the start of the season that 3rd was the target but that's a dream really!

I give up … can you imagine having to go through the whole of next season watching that clown sit on the bench confusing us all with his team selections and substitutions for another fecking year not giving a toss, just seeing out his contract?

I feel seriously let down by my team tonight. I think there is more in this group of players than we are getting from them (Klopp at Liverpool proves that is possible) and I just think we don't have the right motivator currently! UNDEfeckINGSTAEMENT!

Personally I don't think it matters as long as you get old pan face out,I'm sure everyone will get a lift from that, but I'd give it to Joyce being as sir Ryan seems to think it's below him.

Tried watching his post match interview and couldn't take more than a minute. Has he EVER in his reign at the club admitted that our performance was not good enough, and left it at that? Has he ever apologized or admitted to any wrongdoing after a match?

He keeps making the same poor excuses every fecking time. "It's not easy to score goals", "it's not easy to defend against a good team", "we had chances, but so did the opponent", "we did well in our last games" as if that's not something that applies to every team. His media handling is atrocious. What could be used as an opportunity to explain the situation to the fans is instead used for childish, pedantic and repetitive arguments with journalists. By continuing to that he only comes off as extremely insecure which is probably what he is deep down.

Admitting you failed at something is not showing weakness, it's showing that you are capable of realising your own mistakes, and then hopefully learn from them. Making the same excuses week in week out without any improvements is Moyesesque. Then at least Moyes wasn't as arrogant about it.

Right, I didn't know this. Haven't been following the situation too closely. Looks like we just wait and waste time until June then.

Because of "media reports"? Get a grip. We have no idea what Giggsy's intentions are, so don't bother speculating.
I dont want him to be our next manager and I highly doubt he is going to want to be assistant to the next manager. So either way move him along as well.

It's like buying a bottle of champagne, opening it up, and finding that there's piss inside. But instead of going back to the shop and replacing it you've instead sat watching it for an hour and a half whilst drawing in your colouring book and high-fiving the piss as you slowly pour it onto the floor.

And then someone realises that the bottle used to contain champagne but you had emptied it out earlier and replaced it with said piss. But it's too late, because before they can ask you to leave you've already put your coat on and walked away leaving long streaky piss stains sinking deeper and deeper into the carpet.

How the hell did you come up with this analogy?

Post Match presser … starts saying "we" about half way through after he gets a nod from someone I reckon.

Before that (and I don't give a shit if English is not his first language) he's saying "they" (referring to the players) and that is UNACCEPTABLE!

It's fecking "WE" or he can feck right off!

You forgot to add. At some point in the recent past someone came in and offered you a bottle of cleanser for the piss, but waited till it was impossible to remove the piss stain and smell before deciding what to do with said offer.

We have nobody to blame for this catastrophic clusterfeck but ourselves.
Sack the cnut in December and maybe things turn out differently. It's not like the signs weren't there. They were 400 fecking feet tall bright neon that burned into your fecking retinas Woodward you gutless prick.

Feck all that... The man is just a walking festival of shit. With Headliners of being a thoroughly unlikeable bloke, complete and utter stupidity, and Nickleback.

What the feck does he write all game?

Two years of shit. He better release an international bestseller after boring us to submission as a football manager.

It's not like looking at the whole season is that much better. It comes out at something like 54% of all games (47) lost or drawn. Although probably not precise, a quick calculation shows that Moyes' season (excluding Giggs' short reign) comes out at 48% of all games (50) lost or drawn.

In other words, if you didn't think it could get any worse than under Moyes, it seems to have done.

Saddest part is how the fecking club havent sacked him, he should have gone in December. No top 4 club would allow those above stats. Even sadder we used to be the biggest club in England. But the board............ I hate them so fecking much, their ineptness, lack of action, indifference, just no care how low the club has fallen

First we pick Moyes, then this fecking clown

I am 100% sure that i would have more points in the PL with the same squad.

I would even entertain everyone watching by going mental every time we score! :D
