This is why we as fans and supporters wont ever understand some of the things in a football club. All of us including myself have been baffled as to why he is still in the job but it turns out...sticking with him might prove right.

However, this only changed my decision to not sacking him right now but I still think we should assess and evaluate it all at the end of the season.

LVG gets knocked down but he gets up again and you're never gonna keep him down.

Still needs to go. Would he have given Rashford a chance if other players weren't injured. No and he wasn't giving him when we weren't scoring. Injuries have forced his hand.

Mind not changed, still want him gone. Doesn't change the fact he's undeniably a fecking legend though.

Rinse and repeat. Thats what this thread and his stint has been. Still has to go.

Thing is we're not making champions league so he'll get the sack or leave come the end of the season.

If he could have the team playing like they have this week then nobody would want him gone. He needs to show he can do it consistently. I still think he's going at the end of the season regardless of what happens now though but at least if we're playing this football it won't be unbearable.

You do realize how obnoxiously miserable you look posting that right now, don't you?

This thread is a so unpleasant to be in. I don't know how so many of you chose to spend so much of your time here. It's toxic.

So you think that all along, our plan was to lose many games in December.
Then show relegation form for 3 months.
Then have many players get injured.
So that we could field a U21s team and beat Midgetland and Arsenal?
This was not some master plan...I can assure you.

We did well today, but our previous league game was a loss.
Should we sack him....absolutely. Aiming for top 4 should not be our target. We need to aim for the title and LVG isn't the manager who can win the EPL title.

Excellent win today, and it was great to see him putting a lot of faith in the younger players. Needs to start producing that on a much more regular basis though if he's got any hope of staying.

His United career has been 1 step forward 2 steps back.

Let's wait and see if he can finally continue some momentum first.

If he finally gives the players some freedom and forgets his "philosophy", I'd rather see him continue than getting Jose..
Actually, I'd rather take pretty much anyone over Jose, so that isnt saying much

 after that dive, almost tempted to give him the job for life

I'm seriously starting to think he should still be manager next season
He needs to get a run going to the end of the season, getting the kids involved, and if we can get into a run of form, with an upturn in football performance and results i wouldnt mind.

One thing is for absolutely sure, he hasn't lost the dressing room and that is so key
Both these things are very true, I feel.

If these couple of games do turn out to be a change of form, rather than just another break in our being shite, and we get the Champions League qualification, I would hope we stick with him.

The feck does that have to do with what I said? You just keep digging deeper.

Digging what.

This is the fecking LVG out thread. People are fecking going to say they want LVG out in a LVG out thread. Does that make sense to you?

We've scored 3 or more goals in 5 of our last 8 games, at least we are playing entertaining football now.
