Dont do this to yourself people.

There is no way we didnt know Pep was City bound for a couple of months now. We've basically briefed a couple of times about how we had no interest in him.

Since then Van Gaal has struggled, Mourinho has shouted his availability now for months, yet we've not acted. Win, lose or draw, Van Gaal isnt going anywhere. Not until the end of the season at least. Van Gaal has even recently been talking about his great relationship with Ed , and how he intends to stay here for another season.

Guys, he's not going anywhere till the end of this season. You as well get used to the idea.

One bonus is I think it definitely rules Giggs out.

PS. Anyone boiling piss cause of Guardiola......was bloody obvious he was going there 6 months ago!

Er....Bayern, City and Chelsea probably have someone lined up as well.
They had their replacements lined up for ages. As for Chelsea, it remains to be seen who they get.If they don't get a UCL place then who out of the supposedly available managers will go there? Simeone? Maybe an unlimited budget will attract him

WOODWARD - Thank feck we're staying with LVG and that we were never interest in that Guardiola fella or this Mourinho fella. Who needs those serial losers at our club. Nothing like our great and powerful manager who wins everything.

WOODWARD CLONE - Yeah, I'm glad we're not after those cheap and dusty managers that are there. They're not as good as our clean and expensive manager - now that I think of it, the one with the stickers from Londis on him...
...Woody, is there a chance that we've mixed the good and bad managers up?

WOODWARD - *panics and uses inhaler*

Jose in the summer, surely...

Pep vs Mourinho part II

Feeling quite disheartened at the clubs activity lately. When it's this poor and we've not made any actions to resolve the situation then what are the fans suppose to cling to for hope? the philosophy?

Then again we beat the mighty Derby

In fairness LVG is laying the seed for long term success

I mean those trees they planted at the training ground.. awesome

Yeah that's what I'm feeling like to. It's like we should just accept we are in free fall and be happy with that. I might be canned here but I have no intention of going to OT again until the end of the season, At this point it just feels like the club are insulting us fans. Well that's how I feel anyways.

And before anyone says 'get behind the team', I am behind the team, But can't get behind this manager and the board any longer while we are in this utter mess.

8 wins in our last 23 games (all comps), coma inducing Old Trafford entertainment, crowd booing becoming a regular occurrence, 4th place looking unlikely based on our own form and that of the teams above us, one of the top 2 managers in world football available and keen on the job.

He's still here.

It sucks balls!

The only way out of the current mess we're in is to appoint Mourinho, he remains the only one alive who's beaten Guardiola to a league title.

It keeps possession of balls!

Why the feck haven't we got in Jose (if we plan to get him in the summer) and give him time and a Jan transfer window? clueless we are....:wenger:

Not to mention that we underachieved last season too. If LVG had come straight after Fergie, and his year wasn't compared to the shit that Moyes gave us, then more of us would have been pissed off at getting fourth.

Exactly we scraped top 4 with some good and many average performances and most were satisfied because of the shit show under Moyes prior. We were still pretty crap overall though and have been getting worse ever since, 42 points from 87 since beating City 4-2 says it all. Then add the embarrassing CL campaign this season and his crap domestic cup record just proves how incredibly lucky he is and how incredibly unlucky we are that he's still our manager.

I really think the fact that he is manager means many players will think long and hard about whether to come to United should an offer be made. He needs to go and soon.

The young ex city academy player who has played for Eintracht fecking Braunschweig recently (I fecking ask you) is not coming, but represented our most likely signing this window, despite us being clearly in need of a couple of players, especially a striker. But lucky Louis is still there and frankly, who'd want to be a part of his disaster right now?

If a player is already on good money and didnt grow up supportig United, I dont know why they'd want to come here right now either.

This will be my last post on this point for the next 24 hours:

Just get it done, Woody. Sack Louis now and bring in Jose. No sophisticated analysis is required to explain why this is a no-brainer which, among its other virtues, would be a boon for the marketing staff at Old Trafford.

That about sums it up.

This is some Dragonball Z shit

Have faith lads, we still have some tough and not so tough matches to play. I reckon a poor result against Stoke and Chelsea this week could be the start of something special, or not.

I said something very similar in another thread. I think the question was, why would a player want to goto Madrid, vs us.
Needless to say, it didn't go down very well.
Unfortunately, many fans are still hiding their heads in the sand believing that we are a very attractive club for a top player to join. This is not the case.

Last year, we had 2 World class players (Di Maria and DDG).
A few months into LVG's season, both were desperate to leave. Di Maria managed it, while DDG failed.
Fans don't want to listen to this, though.

As for attackers...why would any attacker looking to make a name for himself, by scoring/creating goals, want to join us? LVG's system prevents goals being scored.
And as has been said above, since the MCFC game last year, we have been gradually moving backwards.
I can't think of any reason for LVG to remain. Not one.

If that is the case wonder how many would even want to renew their season tickets? it's one thing supporting your club through good and bad times, it's another when the people running the club seem happy letting the club fall out of the elite. Especially with a manager who seems hostile to anyone that does not suit his senile vision

I think it's because we have no intention of getting rid of Van Gaal.

Fans have the power when enough is enough from these people making one bad decision after another, with VG the tip of the iceberg. Everyone must be crazy to renew season tickets with this guy incharge next season

THis really takes the biscuit. Stop making stuff up to suite your narrative.Mourinho's record against Pep is pretty bad.

When you say Mourinho is the only one to have beaten Pep to a league title is really distorts the reality of the situation. Pep has managed in a two team league with one of the best club teams of all time, the time Mourinho beat him was when Pep had pretty much given up at Barcelona and left and then Pep went to a league where his squad was vastly superior to the rest. Mourinho doesn't have some special formula to beating Pep, the circumstances have simply favoured Pep.

Arsenal fans were in a similar situation (where the board simply didnt bother to listen to them), very few gave up their season tickets.

Its a difficult thing to give up a season ticket you've haf for decades, in some instances passed over between generations. Worse, if you give it up. Someone else likely comes in, and no decrease in attendance.

How have I made up stuff? It's a fact that Guardiola has won every single title whilst he's in management except one season against Mourinho.

You are making it sound like Jose is superman. When in reality, Pep schooled Jose every time their teams met. Your post is a stretch, to put it mildly.

'Schooled' being the operative word.

Ah yes, Pep schooled José everytime - including in the semi-finals of the 2010/ 2011 European Cup where Internazionale were down to ten men at Camp Nou.

Anyway, their total record stands at:

Matches played: 15.
Wins for Guardiola: 7.
Wins for Mourinho: 3.
Draws: 5.

That's not schooled everytime by any stretch of the imagination, especially when Pep had the superior team (personnel wise) almost all the time.

And apart from the first match at Real Madrid vs Barcelona, their La Liga record stands at:

Real Madrid 1:1 Barcelona
Real Madrid 1:3 Barcelona
Barcelona 1:2 Real Madrid

Even if you include the 5-0 at Camp Nou, their overall La Liga record stands at:

Wins for Guardiola: 2.
Wins for Mourinho: 1.
Draws: 1.

Schooled indeed.

Sorry to be pedantic, but what I've underlined and put in bold came in the 2012-13 season when Guardiola wasn't in charge of Barça.

Did you just claim that Barca had a superior side
