Can anyone really see him leaving before Christmas??? Highly doubt it.

He's half the fecking problem if you ask me. Far too much influence over the club. We should have looked around for the best coach in Europe instead we just went down the list when we thought Klopp etc weren't available
It's hard to justify sacking a manager who is only 3 (potentially 6 by Monday) off top of the table, but unfortunately he's managed to form a reasonable argument to deserve the sack. We are awfully lucky that the rest of the league have been dire otherwise we could have easily been way off the top and would be struggling for top 4 again. If we carry on with the way we're going at the moment we will slip into the top 4 battle once again. Injuries or not, the way we are playing is diabolical. The players' heads look gone and they don't really seem to be inspired at all. We're in a really difficult situation.

Taking emotion out of it I'm not sure sacking him is the best idea. Our chief aim has to be Guardiola and if we sack LVG now then who's going to manage us until the summer? Giggs?
Ancelotti won't join at this stage of the season, he's said as much. Not to mention that would also mean we miss out on Guardiola.
The only viable option to sacking him is convincing Giggs to take over as interim boss, I'm not sure whether that's a great idea mid season.

True. But the run also has to taken into account and it's been horrible.

If it was end of May id say sack him, the results are becoming as woeful as the performances. However its mid-season, we have a massive injury list and we are still within distance of the top teams, who themselves are not doing great.
There's a transfer window coming up which with a new manager could be a catalyst for good. Then again, the injury list means any manager coming in is instantly hampered, and knowing our luck, he'd do no business in January suggesting he needs to see all his players fit before buying and selling.
On balance, im still not sure. Perhaps give him until the injuries subside and he has a full-ish strength squad and if nothing changes, then find someone else to replace him. Pep aint gonna be leaving Bayern mid-season though, and Ancelotti says he doesn't want a job mid-season.

With our board insisting on patience and blah blah blah, it'll take another few months of this for him to get sacked I think. Which is a shame. Think we have a fight on to get top 4, which I didn't think there was even a chance we'd be dragged into. 4 wins in last 14 games... Woeful stuff.
There's no "looking around" necessary. Klopp, Simeone, Guardiola, Ancelotti, Mourinho. There's your list and it takes about a year of watching football to know it. We were arrogant gobshites to think we're exempt from the need for a world class manager.
Last season we had 31 points, this season we have 29... But yeah improvement and all. In fact Moyes had 26 points at this stage. 250 million to be in the same position.

The worst thing I can say about the current situation is that I'm actually looking forward to the summer. And that's a terrible thing to day as a United fan.
Well we are down and need a goal if not two with a couple of minutes left, there is no need to sub in a CB who has been injured for quite some time, or any other CB for that matter.

Whats more of a risk, sticking with LVG or going for Giggs till the end of the season? For me sticking with LVG is very risky considering it looks like he has lost the dressing room. Give Giggs the job, if he does well then great. If not then its time for Pep or Carlo at the end of the season.
