I'm no fellaini fan but he is the biggest threat in this type of away game, against this type of team. His subs have no common sense whatsoever
 
Today was all the bad things (Carrick carrying the midfield, defensive injury crisis, opponents walking through the midfield) about a poor late-era SAF performance with none of the positives (spirit, persistence, winning 50-50s, luck, quality upfront).
 
I think we're doing okay given the comedy 11 out there. This team could be special if it grew up, big talents, but it is a second string 11.

big question is how does it get to this stage? why do we get worse injury spells than other clubs and why does LVG want the squad this thin

Would you trust him in January. I honestly think we either sack him now or he has to make do with what he has already bought.
 
We are in total disarray. Heads are down all over the pitch. This is a full blown crisis. The board need to meet tomorrow, Sir Bobby and Sir Alex can wield the axe. LVG to go by Monday.

yeah absolutely.

question is do we punish him for it even if it punishes us?

main reason to sack him would be do we think we will keep the squad this thin next year, in a league and with a squad that clearly isn't able for it?

judging by his history he probably will keep a thin squad as he thinks the young players can step up.

Not sure what else there is to do, don't see him getting sacked any time soon. Maybe if Carlo is available in January or something. But he's not going tonight, or next week.

I don't think Moyes had a run as bad as that at United.
 
I don't think I've ever seen a manager consistently make the wrong decision when it comes to in game changes. I'm not sure if he's just thick, or if he's trying to over complicate things to make himself look clever. Either way, it never fecking works.

No matter whether its a sub, or a tactical change, whatever he does inevitably makes things worse or he takes off a player that was actually playing well.

He's absolutely clueless, a complete fraud of a manager. He should be nowhere near a big club.
 
LVG has destroyed this club just as much as Moyes. The sooner we get rid of him and start again the better. It would be tragic to give this clown another huge check over the summer. I thought we looked about a 6th place side but I fear it could go lower. Anyone can beat us. Anyone.

well we know he isn't thick since he's one of the greatest managers of all time, so it is probably something else
 
Injuries or not, the football has been shit all season. It's not the standards expected or demanded from a club like Man Utd & we shouldn't tolerate it. He's had enough time and money to make a difference and the output has not been worth it. Pep or Ancelotti please.
 
We've reached that horrible stage like March with Moyes - when you want United to NOT turn draws into wins, or to lose to the worst teams because it might, just might be the catalyst to the manager being relieved.

Sad.
 
He is an absolute idiot. Every game, interview, and weird decision I see further exemplifies that.

I dislike him and I want him gone.

There's no transfer window for managers. Carlo could start tomorrow if we wanted him to and gave him a ring. He's doing nothing atm and would accept without hesitation I'm pretty sure.
 
I was very confident of top 4 this season, but this run of 3 wins from 12 and the rut were is extremely worrying. We've got a tough run of games coming up soon as well. This is the time we had to go on a decent run. Argh.
 
The fact that you're only 3 points behind the leaders says a lot about the quality of the top teams in the league. Hilarious season.
