I'm not disagreeing regarding where the problem lies but the point I was trying to make is that the 'problem', should have known the players in question were likely to get injured, so again it's just a complete shambles on his part. Our second string should be well able to cope against a newly promoted team. There are more than enough experienced players on the pitch anyway. The problem is sitting on our bench.
Well, we defended like this against Wolfsburg too. It's almost as if we have no first team defended on
I meant over quarter of a billion = £268,700,000, which is still a vast amount of money . Nevertheless, we look poor, having paid so much for players.Even the £250m thrown around is an exaggeration and you go and make it even worse.
Because they want to take the moral high ground. "We're not a sacking club! We're better than that!"We won't finish in the top4 with him as a manager this season.
Why do people even back him? Name one reason except that there is no one to replace him because I can't find a single reason to back him.
3 now.Chicharito has scored two goals tonight for Leverkusen. Sad isn't it.
That is appalling.Since the Everton game...
12 Games played:

p.s. three goals.
Not for all games, just the recent ones.We can rightly blame injuries/bad luck for this as well, but it was his decision to cut the squad up so much. Fault lands on him

I am trying to convince myself that the shite we are watching is because of all the injuries but I just can't.
So tired of us struggle every week. Win or lose, its always a struggle.
That's his system. Players have to wait for others to find them rather than coming close to get the ball. I found it odd when I heard that given I thought you'd want to be closer together, but I suppose it's worked for him before. But I don't understand why it's supposed to make sense. One constant complaint I have about our tactics is the massive gap between the forwards and the defenders. It just leaves the centre backs having to thump it up long. The players are too far apart to support each other so we rely on long balls and individual skill to score. It's a very weird interpretation of possession football.
And besides, we have enough talent up front to do better than this shite we're watching now. It's just so poor.We can rightly blame injuries/bad luck for this as well, but it was his decision to cut the squad up so much. Fault lands on him
