Just no improvement what so ever, so lucky today

A full strength team, at home, verus a league one side. Yes it's the FA cup, but at least create some chances.

At this point, anyone who would prefer suffering through more LVG football rather than bringing Mourinho in is simply a sucker for punishment. I could accept it if we had a deal with Pep, and we knew he was coming regardless of where we finish this season, but that's a pipe dream. Mourinho is a world class Manager with an infinitely better record than Van Gaal. He'd absolutely be a massive upgrade, despite any faults he may have. I've simply seen enough of this dire football.

Erm, he thought the first half vs Swansea was better than the second. There's no way he's resigning even if the game had ended 0-0.

To be honest I'm really struggling now.

We've been handed a fecking golden chance here.

We can sack him tonight with our season still salvageable, we're close to everyone in the battle for top 4, we're still in Europe, even if it is the Europa League, and we're in the next round of the Cup. We could still end up looking back on a decent season in May if we do the right thing and sack him tonight

Why do we have to wait until the season is utterly fecked and ruined before we act?

sooner LVG leaves, the better.

unless we are certain to appoint guardiola in the summer (which isn't), I really don't get our adamant position against appointing mourinho.

As hard as it is to read a turnip-faced charlatan, he looked a broken man even after the goal. Maybe I'm being desperately optimistic but I hope he resigns.

If he hasn't got the balls to even attack at home in the cup to a league 1 side he never will.

It really strengthens the opinion that those weeks in Spring where we hit a groove were stumbled upon and not designed.

I don't get our fans. We're schizo as feck.. we want good results and yet we want the manager out. . You can't have one without the other.

At the moment he is producing the goods and after a dodgy spell in December, he is getting us back on track. He will see out the season I'm sure of it and he doesn't deserve to go after getting us a win against tough opposition. Lower league sides are notoriously difficult to break down. We did well.

What the fecking feck?

Scholes is raging and rightly so. But he's still trying to not criticise his mates which pisses me off

Anyone who still wants LVG in charge of United needs their heads checking.

It is completely clear that LVG can't change the way the team plays.
We are boring - no doubt about that.
LVG does not have any other ideas. He has 1 plan (pass x infinity and out possess the opponent. the score line is irrelevant).

We have one of the only managers capable of making Martial look average. Utter joke.

Exactly the attitude that will turn us into a regular cupless team.

This!

Our club is like an abused wife who just keeps going back for more. FFS things aren't going to get better under him, how can the board not see that.

I'm looking forward to seeing who we face in the 4th round. That is all that matters. Did Sheffield even get any shots on target?

We only got 2, 1 being the penalty. Doesn't exactly mean much. A fecking shambolic performance.

Yep thats 6 wins in 19 or something. Typical United winning...
Doesn't seem to worry the board. Since they didn't sack him after that mental 8 games winless run, can't see why they would now.

I'm sure he wouldn't have been sacked if we drew as well - we still had the replay...

I agree. He needs to resign.
