What a terrible performance. I couldn't even muster a celebration seeing that penalty go in. That's how much life the performance has sucked out of me.

If the style of football you want to play requires a front three of the likes of Robben, Messi, Neymar etc, then I'd say you're crazy hoping to achieve something with it when you've not got anywhere close to that kind of quality.

I'm starting to think even Messi might struggle being the only one who's free to take risks while the rest of the team pass the ball sideways, probing for a way to get him the ball.

Don't think so. Van Gaal has shown throughout his time here that he's actually quite sensitive and cares a lot about fans opinions of him (too much if anything).
Really! Has he ever walked out of a club when he has been shite with fans all pissed off with him?

jog on louis. we look the same v everyone. easily could have been a tape delay of any of 20+ matches this season. peno FFS a peno as our first real shot.

That wasn't far from a full strength team. Incredible. There is no reason for this man to still be here. He is worse than Moyes.

It's quite odd, seems more rival fans cheered that penalty than United fans did

He's destroying the passion of long time fans, how can he possibly stay?

I can't even explain the mental state our games cause. It's just ridiculous now

Not sure but he has said before that he would walk if he felt he didn't have the support of the fans or players, and today was really the first time where the fans went all out on him like they did.

If he was seriously thinking about resigning before the Chelsea game then this should seal the deal. Hopefully.

Where the hell are the planes ?

Wonder how long can OT fans take this before going all out agro ? It's tedious football to not even maybe grind results.

You have to be taking the piss?

I don't get our fans. We're schizo as feck.. we want good results and yet we want the manager out. . You can't have one without the other.

At the moment he is producing the goods and after a dodgy spell in December, he is getting us back on track. He will see out the season I'm sure of it and he doesn't deserve to go after getting us a win against tough opposition. Lower league sides are notoriously difficult to break down. We did well.

Just as I thought. He is full of hot air. Lots of talk but very little walk involved. He will never resign.

You have no standards.

Sorry but the rest of us do.

Unless we can get Pep we should keep him, there isn't another manager out there that's worth it.
Keep a man who has spent 150 million or whatever it is and have us go on a run of 8 winless games during an easy period of fixtures and manage an unprecedented 10 home match nil goals in the first half streak?

Even Giggs can do a better job. Blanc, Mourinho, feck I'd even accept Moyes until the end of the season.

Shocking.

Producing the goods? By beating a shite Swansea side (somehow) and struggling ti get over the line against a League 1 side?

Terrible performance again. I would rather give it to Giggs until the end of the season than keep LVG at this point.

United will win nothing with Van Gaal, dire stuff week in week out.
I read somewhere that United have'nt scored a first half goal at home for 10 games :o
