Lives to fight another day. He has to be the luckiest manager in the world right now

Does that mean he's staying? Another awful performance forgotten and forgiven?

I dont think no matter what happened today, he is going to stay here till the end of the season. I am just resigned to that.

He's sucking the life out of Manchester United and making me feel apathetic about the sport.

Sign that he has to go.

But of course he will stay til the end of the season (at least).

Whatever...

Please resign, for the good of football,
Could you imagine being a neutral having to watch that? Jesus.

Sack him. He's clueless about football. He thinks his football is "attacking" because it dominates possession yet does nothing going forward. His cowardly brand of football has no place at United.

If he keeps getting results like this we might get the title :)

But seriously...what was that performance?

Hope he still resigns, nothing will change,SAF,SBC and the United board should please do something

Must feel more luckier than Mourinho did when Costinha scored at OT all those years back!

I'd have happily taken a replay had it meant him getting sacked.

Had some sort of weird feeling when that penalty was awarded which is so weird.

We won't get gifts like that penalty in every game.
There's no way he'll get sacked after this match (no matter how much we need to do it asap) after he survived Norwich.

Get him the feck out of the club!!! Worse than Moyes!

The guy is only here for another 18minths anyway, why are we waiting around. Absolute dinosaur.

I hate LVG more than any other manager, players, even team currently.

He is getting us results. Deserves to stay.. we have put December behind us and are on a nice run now.

He is too thick skinned to let that affect him.
Don't think so. Van Gaal has shown throughout his time here that he's actually quite sensitive and cares a lot about fans opinions of him (too much if anything).

The penalty changes nothing. He deserved sacked when it was 0-0 and he still does.

I just don't want to watch us anymore, it's just tragic.

Same here.

It's the hope that kills you though, every week I think that we may play some exciting football the next, but no, of course we don't.
