If only....

Actually think we'll get a result today and he'll crawl on a little longer. Chelsea have no fit strikers at all.

He just said that the majority of fans are behind him. It's the complete opposite.
I'm not sure that is fact

In tonight's match the majority of the fans in the ground will firmly be backing him and the team. And I'm sure that is what he is alluding to

I doubt he reads red cafe and the likes

Of course the manager and the team is going to have the backing of the fans for the match. If we lose, though, we'll see just how far that goes. I don't expect us to lose, but if we do I'm thinking there's going to be some very significant booing.

Don't really get Scholes at all, sometimes it's like he's contrary just for the sake of it.

Rooney says behind him, club seem to be behind him, SAF seems in high spirits, Scholes saying deserves more time... professionals in the business with one opinion and pissed off emotive fans with another and the professionals are the ones in the wrong?

Clearly we don't have all the information, I doubt that the board all met and LVG told them a good joke and they all laughed and said OK you can stay. Something is obviously happening.

LvG pretty relaxed before the game, smiling even. I think he's made his mind up no matter what happens today.

Fergie's got a big smug look on his face in his seat. We'll win this. Van Gaal and Fergie look like they have that cream normally reserved for cats.

Scholes fairly criticises Van Gaal's style and tactics=Treasonous cnut who's clearly conspiring with the old boys to bring down LVG.
Scholes inexplicably changes tune in midst of clubs worst run in 50 years with most fans wanting LVG out=Can't you see? Everything's fine, the professionals are supporting LVG, ye are all emotive fools who don't know any better.

Can't have it both ways son.

Of course you can. People can have different opinions on different matters. Just because he's rightly criticizing the team playing badly doesn't mean his opinion has to be that the manager is sacked. That's an extreme, one of many possibilities. If it was one person then fair enough, but if it's the players, the ex players and the club itself then it should really tell you something.

Why couldn't we have played like this in the last few games? Best we've looked all season albeit it's against a crap Chelsea.

If we carry on like this all the 'this could be the turning point' people will crop up then we'll go back to normal a few games later and we'll be past the best point to replace him in the season.

Not many sides have given us this much time and space. Chelsea are putting us under no pressure whatsoever.
