What is Mike "More than a" Phelan up to these days?
ironing his shorts ready for anyone who might interview him on how it used to beWhat is Mike "More than a" Phelan up to these days?
Would a draw against Chelsea be enough to save LvG?

So he's still the manager?
FFS.
Yeah, I think the silence after the game from the media has been pretty deafening. It's unusually quiet tonight, I think that's a sign something is happening.
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Thought every journalist would be all over this but they're all quiet about it. Somebody else suggested that it might be that they've got wind of something big happening and the club have told them to sit tight. The media were definitely briefed earlier on in the week. It's unusually quiet tonight, I think that's a sign something is happening.

There has to be something going on behind the scenes.
Guarantee you one member of his staff will keep his job.
Why? He will get a nice payoff and ride off into the Portuguese sunset.
You saw that, did you?
Man United are an embarrassment - Louis van Gaal should be ashamed of the job he has done by Andy Dunn.
That'd be really dumb, even for our own standards, when everyone and their dog knows by now that van gaal looks shot and is out of ideas. He'll be here until we're mathematically finished for top 4 hopes. That is genuinely how incompetent this club is.
I haven't read, or even seen that article...but that headline is absolutely spot on. Not sure how anyone could argue with it.
The media are going after him because...
A) He's doing a shite job
B) He treats them like shit so they're getting their own back
Its just another situation where he only has himself to blame.
I'm hearing silence. Not even fake ITKs on twitter saying he's going to leave or anything. So odd.

There was a reason why we did with Moyes that though. If we didn't do that, we would have need to pay his entire wage for 5 years, but by doing so, we payed only for one year.We did exactly the same for Moyes. No reason to believe anything's going to change here.

In LVG's case it is paying for 18 months instead of paying for 12 months. There is no economical factor on not sacking him now but sacking him after a few months. If he doesn't get sacked in the next week, I think he'll be here for the entire contract. Which would be the worst thing that can happen to us.
Not sure that will happen unless you are hibernating for winter?Hoping to wake up to this thread closed
Ha, I have hope he will be sacked im the morningNot sure that will happen unless you are hibernating for winter?
Im starting to think that no manager could do anything with this squad.. I feel sorry for LVG to have to use so many useless players.
We should fine all players after the game today. MAYBE then they would wake up and try to play for the club.
How about Mike Phealan and Giggs combo til we find a suitable replacement?

Man United lose four straight games for first time since 1961
