It's remarkable that a manager can bring champions to 16th in the league and be in demand by other Top clubs. Do NOT want Maureen, hope we don't get him.

Klopp took Dortmund near to the relegation zone himself last season. Didn't stop most wanting him.

I'm going to keep repeating myself, but this is the start of another Woodward clusterfeck. He's going to hold out for something that isn't going to happen and feck us over yet again.
It was fergie that fecked us over the first time.

Fergie is the only reason Moyes got the job.

I like how you completely ignore he made them champions in the first place. Gotta love football fans.

Sure apparently Mourinho is a failure now due to six months out of his downright epic career.

Caf is mental, I've come to accept it.

read a few places that the delay is Mourinho does not want to talk to the club as long as van Gaal is still there..out of respect. So we may well see Giggs in charge of the next two matches and Mourinho in the New Year.
Makes sense. Mourinho was assistant to LvG at Barcelona, so he has respect for him. Woody needs to swing that axe right now.

He's survived today which leads me to believe he'll at least survive until the Stoke game depending on result of course.

Wouldn't it funny though if we announced he's sacking at 8 to overshadow tonight's game.

It says something about a man where the players from Az Alkmaar think you're a cnut.

Completely unnecessary, and the players at Alkmaar begged him to stay, which he did, winning them the league.

People need to relax and show some respect for a guy who has been a great manager. What did he personally do to you for you to call him that?

saw a link. cant seem to find it now. The odds were shorter than that should Morinho be appointed.

I imagine the odds on us winning the league would plummet if Mourinho got the job, but I was just working on the odds of the two single bets..

Umm, he was going to resign after 2008 season but players requested him to stay on. He won the league with them against the odds and then left for Bayern. Dutch football experts can shed more light on this..
His resignation was already accepted by the president. But the players went to the president to say he should withdraw the acceptance, he was happy to continue with Van Gaal. But the players had to go to the managers house to convince the man himself, and they did (you see, he isn't that stubborn).

The Dutch football press estimated that AZ would make it to 13th the next season. I think it was the 3rd match of that season he lost 3-0 and the whole presser was gloating about his upcoming sacking, but he said he was very satisfied with the match, they played very well and he had no worries. Everybody was stunned first, but laughed at him later. This was the last match he lost until they had won the league comfortably.

I'm sure van Gaal won't be leading us out against Stoke. More than likely it will be Giggs. But Mourinho will I feel be installed as our manager against Chelsea.
You said it was definitely today.
Then said by the close of the NYSE.

At this point , seems the next announcement will be that LvG has gotten a 6 yr renewal instead of him being relieved of his duties.

And from then on they all call him Admiral Alkmaar.

The way it's going, he'll get sacked a year after he retires.

He hasn't gone yet so my guess would be and as some of the rumors say that he has the next 2 games to save his job. Lose either of those and he is gone.

Yup, had read about this but wanted confirmation. I am very sad it is ending this way for Van Gaal here. He is a great man, very intelligent but some of the drawbacks in his management become too glaring at big clubs.

I was hung over and jittery earlier today. Now I'm mellow, bordering on drunk. But both states have me convinced Woody is the devil. Or, not the devil - but an incompetent sort of devil.

It's my new thing. Woody out. LVG in. As director of tulips.

How were the fans during this period? Behind the manager our were they losing their shit like redcafe?

Louis is going to win both with rampant performances. And then we'll say, "We gooooooo for it!"

The Empire Strikes Back!

So basically LVG has been Star Wars trolling us, all this was apart of the build up to the release. UTD to thrash Stoke, the force awakens?

He will get more games and I think he should. We are in danger of just changing and changing until a decade passes and no one has had the chance to rebuild. We can easily still make top 4 when people are now touting Chelsea to make it.
