I feel the same. This is going to be one long window. Hopefully we can rely Woodward to get these done.I am already sick of of this transfer window and it has not even started yet. Woodward get it done ffs.
Yeah we can kiss this transfer goodbye too when David Luiz signs for PSG. They'll shift Azpilicueta back to RB, have Ivanovic play at CB and rotate with Terry and Shaw LB. Hooray!
Knowing Mourinho, they probably signed Zouma to play at RB.They've signed Zouma to play at CB.
I think Evra's extension means United are not confident enough Shaw will be here next season. And if Pochettino's staying at Southampton rumor is true, i think it could mean Shaw decided to stay one more year. It makes sense, he is very young, his suitors will be here next year and he can still develop at Saints, he has not really outgrown them or anything.
Surely if Woodward f*cks this one up too the Glazer's will look to bring in someone who actually knows what they're doing? A director of football or similar?
Woodward is a very experienced, world class negotiator of commercial deals. Clearly those skills are not transferable to signing football players for Manchester United. That's okay, but someone at the club MUST realise this.
It seems inevitable that we'll now miss out on Shaw as Chelsea have freed up wages and fees to get him, while presumably Ed and co have presumably scoped out the best potential official military sponsor in Thailand.
More people on Twitter are saying/writing that Ogden is live on MUTV and has said it.To be fair it's JoeTaylor84 saying that Ogden is saying that.

He's one of the most reliable fellas on Twitter.
Tbf, that's like saying that he's the least-embarrassing member of Milli Vanilli.
That's Rafael, Shaw did play 38 games this term and Evra over 40. I don't think these two could work. One of them has to be a deep cover. I wrote a bigger post on the topic here.Could be. But it would be a very wise move too if Shaw moving to us is a done deal. Would be very silly to try and challenge for the title with a (very talented) 19 year old and Büttner. Shaw has great potential from the looks of it, but look at Rafael. He's played for us since age 18, is 24 now and his injuries made us miss a really good right back like 50% of the time in the last 5 years when he wasn't fit.
Nothing that indicates that he can't be, I assume that someone as intelligent as him has learned his lesson from last summer and will be able to close the deals we need to close this summer.
Still very raw, can see him getting a handful of games under Mourinho after him saying that next season Chelsea will be real title contenders. Anyway that'd be 4 CB's which would be enough, still space for a LB.They've signed Zouma to play at CB.
This. I think Woodward got what it takes. He must have learned a great deal from last summer. He handled the Mata deal great imo.
Did he handle the Mata deal? There was a fair bit of talk that it was Fergie and Gill who made that happen.

I don't know if we're thinking of the same article but I read one posted on the caf that was the same. He wouldn't take a call from them because he knew they'd bring up Rooney, he just put the offer on the table and then just ignored them or something. I remember him coming out of it well.In fairness, I guess, if Fergie and Gill handled that transfer, I think Woodward would have left his position and went back to commercial dealings. I also read an article about the Mata deal, and in that article, Woodward did a hell of job. Anyways, lets see what he does this summer. Its only early days.
Surely not.. I'm worried too! We need a new left back it's as clear as sun and Evra has past it.don't think evra would have signed on for another year another year if this was going to happen, can't see evra signing on as a number two
Its from three days ago.Might as well post this here(yes it is from Goal.com but Duncan Castles is the writer).
