Yep. This one's on the manager.Rushed back, clearly not fit, now possibly out for the season. I get that Shaw does have injury problems but we're basically asking for him to get hurt playing him like this and it's been like this for the past couple of months. He gets injured, we rush him back and play him every minute of every game, he gets a reoccurring injury. It's hard for me to blame Shaw too much in this scenario.
Dalot will be left back for the rest of the season.
What happens to Malacia next season then? When he’s no longer injured. For the same reason you mentioned, he won’t be sold this summer either.
Can't deny that his fitness issues are a big problem but it's also poor management. When he came back earlier in the season after 3 months out, Ten Hag then started him for the next 8 games in less than a month until he was injured. And now he goes off against Villa, gets labelled as 'doubtful for the weekend' in Thursday's press conference but is risked anyway 3 days later.
Who told you that was Ten Hags decision?
Reguilon was available for those 8 games earlier in the season. And against Luton there were options with Lindelof or Amrabat. Not ideal but for 1 game to give Shaw an extra week's recovery it's not a disaster. There’s nobody else. That’s the main problem, it’s a club and recruitment issue. Shaw with his injuries at this point should be backup to someone and used for rotation and to cover LCB when Martinez gets his customary injury
Not a bad shout at all. What about 20 y.o. Sam Murray, who started for the U21 vs City two days ago? Is he not better than 16 y.o. Amass?

Wasn't he fit before last contract extensionHe’s been here for a decade now and except 22/23 season I don’t think he’s ever managed to stay fit throughout the season.
Wow. What a fantastic judge of a player you really are...... not.
You should stop watching football I think or perhaps start watching it .He's no great loss anyway and should be shipped out in the summer.

So frustrating.
Its about time we start phasing him out the team.

May is long retired fella. The idea of having Dalot as LB is big NO to me. Dalot has just built good connection on the right with Garnacho, why should we ruin it only to play 2 players (him and Lindelof) out of position? Stick with Dalot on the right. Play Bissaka or Lindelof on the left or May be even amrabat or someone else.
We need to sign new left back because Shaw is so unreliable.
The one thing these numbers don't say are the types of injuries. I always worry when a player has muscle injuries, like hamstring or groin injuries, as when they start, they tend to be repetitive. Rooney had foot break injuries, usually after a tackle. Shaw is getting a lot of muscle injuries, usually without any contact, if we forget the leg break where it was not his fault at all.
I hope we show real intent this summer and go for a player of true quality like Theo Hernandez from AC Milan. We can keep Shaw, as he can cover 2 postions, LCB and LB.

or the Medical department that specializes in this?Yep. This one's on the manager.
Murray's no where near United first team standard. Not a bad shout at all.
Louie had the balls to drop Joe Riley and CBJ into the deep end and it actually worked out well for us. Can not be worse than moving another player out of position.
The manager has final say. He was worried enough to withdraw him at half time the game before and admitted he wasn't sure whether he'd be fit to start for Luton. It's his job to assess that situation and he's made a bad call.or the Medical department that specializes in this?
