Average player made to look good in comparison to the dross around him. Wouldn't look to upgrade just yet, simply because other positions are higher priorities. But in the long term he shouldn't be a starter.
 
He has looked for the last few games like he's given up for the season.
 
Poor game. Won't be too critical as he's one of the only players who's improved and had a decent season.
 
Even forgetting their goal, that was probably his worst performance for us.

Please he looks like a pub player. I dont get whats wrong with our sport science dep, players being overweight and not conditioned.
 
What an atrocious game. He is quite talented but also very limited, add to the fact he is one of many in our squad with questionable attitude, it makes for concern.
 
Sluggish one today. Looked like he'd had a heavy day out yesterday.

Utterly ridiculous to be caught out like that for the goal. Real amateur stuff.

I also feel that he's really unfit, which is crazy. Would be interesting to see what Pep, for example, thinks about his fitness level.
 
He’s not good enough but arguably our best defender which kind of says it all.
 
Not very good at going forward and not very good at defending. He'll probably still end up being here long enough to get a testimonial knowing us.
 
Been one of the better players this season, and did well against the big teams. But yeah, today he was lazy today, like most of our players were probably thinking "its just Huddersfield, what could go wrong..."

We have no player of the season, it should be suspended for this year.
 
For the majority of the season he's been solid defensively and not many have got the better of him in a 1v1 situation.

However, he is so, so poor in attack, his crossing technique just looks bang average. Which is quite strange as his passing is actually very good for a LB, like the ball he played to Lukaku vs Chelsea. It's a real shame because he could be one of our main attacking threats if he sorted out his crossing and stamina.
 
Hes lower on the list because hes alright, but hes just not talented enough really to ever be "set" at left back with him. Like if we achieve success in the next 5 years and have a "complete" team, he wont be a starter for that. Right back, centerback, CM, right wing are all the priorities, but it's not like left wing, left back and striker are "sorted" positions. Just less drastic need.

That clip there is pathetic from him.
 
He has had moments of promise this season but hate to say it he still doesn't look in good enough shape for a professional footballer, I saw a clip of him in training at Southampton earlier and he looked in tip top shape so needs to get back to that.

This guy was never good enough for United. You are all blinded by the idea of him. He’s a myth player who never fulfilled his potential.

We surely can get a better LB that doesn’t register 5 assists in 5 seasons.
 
He can't attack. Convert him into a left side CB or use him as a LB backup.
 
Second time this season he screwed up a relatively simple ball and United concede from a counter attack after an own corner. I don't feel comfortable when both CBs are moved up for the corner and he is left as last man defending. Ok if United desperately need to score I understand that the best defenders are often the best in the air, but yesterday it was 1-0 at the corner, no need to take chances.
 
Yeah he had a shite game, it happens. Yeah there's better left backs out there, for sure. But when are you lot gonna realise that he's the least of our problems right now?
