Anybody else see the resemblance?
Good shout, can see him forming a bit of a bond with Fred.

Jose will praise him until Young is ready to return.
Honestly think it'll be Shaw's year.
He was absolutely fine in the period over christmas when Young got injured, didn't put a foot wrong but Jose dumped him as soon as Young was fit again.
He's clearly in good shape right now, I hope he can get some early confidence and get an assist or even a goal in pre season.
With him being fitter i'm sure he will be able to keep bursting down the wing like he does, we really need his speed with the ball as it helps our transitions massively.
Touch wood it seem he's over his leg issues now, so this could be the start for him to turn things around, I have faith.
Yep I thought that was really insulting too, no wonder Shaw has no motivation / desire to try his best for Mourinho.I wasn’t happy with this either. All people ask is a fair chance to earn your place, and when that isn’t afforded to you, it looks personal/favouritism. Shaw went from ‘the best LB in the league’ to no look-in at all as soon as Young was back. This is the sort of thing that always attracts the criticism of Jose Not developing players.
Yes, it shows that if he didn’t get his leg broken in the line of duty he looked on course for a good season. If I remember correctly, Shaw a couple of years ago, maybe last season or the year before, came top of these tests as well. Can we really read into it all?
I think majority of United fans would love Shaw to become our number 1 left-back and put in consistent high-level performances rather than signing another left-back for 40-50 odd million.
But in order to do that he needs to stay fit, he needs to be able to play in around 30 Premier League games per season now! His devastating injury was a few years ago , so he really needs to get over that. I have noticed when he does play, he still bombs forward on occasions but sometimes it appears he is hesitant to really go for it, maybe that injury is still stuck in his mind.
His crossing needs to improve too (same with 99% of our players in fact). The raw talent is there, if he can start to play regularly, then imagine a fully fit Shaw bombing down the left-wing, beating opponents for fun and delivering deadly crosses for Lukaku
Crazy that he only just turned 23 last week! He can still play for us at a high level, providing he turns turns things around, for a decade! This season will definitely be his last chance to prove himself, otherwise he will be shown the door and as much as I would be disappointed, it would be the right call and another left-back would be needed.
Apparently he was in Pochs office nearly every day to get encouragement. Maybe that’s why Poch is so good at bringing young players through.
Can we move on from fat jokes here on Caf?
Body shaming is not fun at all. He proven to us he got back to shape and you lot still complaining or joking about him being fat.
Let's get behind him for his make or break season. Good luck Shaw, all the best.
Oh Jesus Christ.
Can't blame him for a lack of trying. I can see him play well in the first few matches of the season where Young is still missing and hopefully Mourinho will keep playing him if that's the case.

Shaw and Dalot on either side has huge potential if it all falls into place.I really want him to make the spot his own. He's English, already on the books too so wouldn't have to invest again for a while and there's talent there. I'm not sure I trust it will happen for him though. I know a lot like to blame Jose but it's probably more on Shaw. It would be a lovely surprise if he makes that spot is home and regains some of the form we saw a few years back.
Crazy to think he was flying high and only 20 years old when Moreno broke his leg. Hopefully Dalot shows that kind of promise next year but obviously pans out better than Shaw has to date.
Yeah, assuming we don't sign a left-back this summer it would be lovely if this time next year we are talking about Shaw in glowing terms, Dalot has won his place in the regular line-up and Bailly has shaken his injury problems. That with De Gea's new long-term contract would set up the defense for years to come.Shaw and Dalot on either side has huge potential if it all falls into place.
Shaw and Young were rehabbing last pre season
Shaw is always rehabbing and getting back into shape. Every single pre-season.
Then once the season starts and transfer window closes, he hits KFC and McD's...HARD!!!
4 years and he's had about 10 good games. For me, this is the worst transfer in our history. The most expensive LB in the World (at the time of signing) and he'll probably go on a free next Summer, having played a handful of good games for us.
To think that Evra left because of Moyes (bad management) and Shaw (who was incoming).
Shaw and Dalot on either side has huge potential if it all falls into place.
And yet you seem to enjoy it so much...
I don't.
I want us to cut our losses and move on.
We desperately need a proper LB. We can't keep using A.Young (who is great at attacking, but useless at defending).
My penis growing an extra 6" has huge potential if it happens.
But we both know that none of the above is going to happen anytime soon.
To think that Dalot - a teenager who has played only 6 league games for Porto - will usurp Valencia anytime soon is illogical and demonstrates a fundamental lack of football knowledge (on several levels).
Then we add Shaw into the equation, I have to question whether or not people on this forum actually watch our games and if they know that Shaw has been crap for 4 years, but for a few games, here and there.
You sound like a complete moron, and that's putting it nicely. My penis growing an extra 6" has huge potential if it happens.
