What a whiny little shitbag. He's like a little girl. "buhu, i have ligament damage", well grow a new vagina and get on with it, like the other members in here
That PSV twat
Shaw was playing so well and was always one of the first names on the team sheet till that happen. He could have been so good by now
You always have to take these things carefully, but even before he was back in the side there were rumours he was battling with some mental issues, possibly bouts of depression due to the severity of his leg break in the first place. Again, you really have to take such claims with sensitivity, but if true, the response of his current manager and the scrutiny delivered by fans is absurd.Hope all the armchair warriors on here & social media are proud. Virtually calling him a coward & a cheat for making out he is injured & not wanting to play. Absolutely disgraceful. Doubt if many will apologise, including the bully of a manager.
This is off topic, so I will not dwell on it. But if you have a point to make, just make it and move on. No need to be insulting. I mean if this was a face to face chat, would you call me a moron just because we don't happen to see eye to eye?Actually, it's calling someone a moron for imagining things.

Learn some manners. Just because it's online doesn't mean you should causally throw about insults.
Like I said, learn some manners and maybe a little bit about the nature of debate and the possibility that people often have diverse, conflicting views. Perhaps, when you grow up, you will get it. Right now, you sound very immature; too immature to contribute to a useful debate. It's not about two different opinions. It's about people being utter fecktards. Have you seen the amount of hobby ______ (insert whatever ranging from hobby psychologists, teachers, lip readers, doctors). There's a video of Michael Carrick and Wayne Rooney asking what's wrong, none of them seem to have much of a reaction whatsoever, and apparently it's conclusive evidence that they think he's a fanny faking injury (which seems to be ligament damage)

Not really: if you really think calling people you have never met absolute fecking morons and utter fecktards is a grown up, mature way to go about a debate, then you are clearly immature.
I love how you try to make a reference to my personal life, without having the slightest clue what i do for a living. Good for you, good for you.

I will leave it there now.

How so? I commented 'that's quite telling' on Rooney's and Carrick's reactions, meaning both looked quite dissapointed. It is quite a leap to 'he is faking injury'. Perhaps you guys are on a witch hunt and reading too much into comments like mine?I refuse to accept
Thing is you did kind of suggest Shaw was faking injury based on nothing but Wayne Rooney's face. Think about that for a second.
As a footballer I'd imagine faking injury is the worst possible insult. I don't see the need for name calling but to complain about being called a moron seems a bit hypocritical in this context.

Not manning up and trying to run it off before making a decision or playing with a bit of pain is different to faking an injury.
Didn't Sir Alex once say Saha's injuries were more in his head than physical? Some people just react to things differently, some feel a twinge and can't play and others would need to be dragged off the pitch. Mouinrho wants more of the latter.
But I have already tried to explain my comment and you, seemingly, just ignored it. I will try again: My comment meant the video was telling in that they both looked disappointed. Nothing more, nothing less. If you can interpret that to mean 'faking injury' then I would say you are putting words into my mouth. So what did you mean then when you said those dissapointed looks were "quite telling?"
Telling of what?

I asked this elsewhere and no one has bothered to reply, maybe you can help: has anyone, in this thread or elsewhere, actually said that Shaw was faking injury? I must admit I have not seen it. It all seems like just insinuations made up out of nowhere because some people on the forum have decided some other people on the forum are accusing players of faking injuries.
Well, perhaps my choice of words is odd but, even so, I don't see how you get to the faking injury interpretation. And if you read the to and fro, you will see that other poster never once asked me to clarify what I had meant. He just assumed he knew (that I meant Shaw was faking injury) and straight away decided I was an absolute fecking moron. He had some preconceptions and didn't bother to check closely if my post really confirmed them.No this just doesn't make sense. If all you were doing was acknowledging that Rooney had a sad face "It's quite telling" is an odd choice of words. It's even odder to then have an argument with another poster about this who would surely agree with you. Cos you know...Rooney does look sad.
Yeah, I heard he'll probably miss the start of next season.Any idea how long he will be out for? Will he miss the pre-season preparations too?

It's also funny how much you talk about Jose. It's funny how if José has said that Shaw faked the injury some will still lap it up.
Does he have 1 year left on his contract?Yeah, I heard he'll probably miss the start of next season.

I just took it at face value. I don't know the intention and since I don't look at most tweets or reports regarding injuries, I do not know if it is unusual at all. I think @bucky posted it because another post had asked to see it. Not sure anyone thought it was evidence of faking injury. That was the intention of the tweet. When else have you ever seen the reaction of a player to another player being injured highlighted? Or the minute of the injury? That's what you said was telling so you can understand the confusion.

Yes but has an option of a further year.Does he have 1 year left on his contract?
It is crazy how some were too quick to judge him, I remember a guy even talking about a "fake limp"

I'll be honest it did have the look of a fake limp about it, to me.
Whether it was, or not, it's not the kind of thing that would usually cross my mind and I have no agenda either way.
Sounds ominous from Jose anyway.
Thats exactly the point I'm making. You said he would have gone off with the Physio's advice. The physio can only advise on what Shaw tells him and if Shaw's being a wimp he's going to say whatever gets him substituted.
I'm almost starting to believe he's faking it. He seem to be going down with life threatening injuries each and every match. I hope I'm wrong on this one, but hearing José state he's unhappy with the attitude of some players makes you wonder.
The "Shaw needs to man up and run it off" crowd have gone awfully quiet since it turned out it was a ligament injury. Funny that.

The over-reaction in this thread about Shaw is hilarious. He's having a run of bad luck with niggling injuries after coming back from a year long, serious injury. Is this suddenly something new? Or do we simply have to panic, state how he's never going to make it at the top, is a wimp, and his career will be curailed by injuries forever? Can we not just sit back and think that maybe with a full pre-season ahead of him, if he puts in the work there's no reason he can't come back stronger than before? To say he should be sold now is baffling to me. Stick with him for at least another year.
