For a 23 year old striker who's played at West Brom and Everton of all places, his scoring record is very impressive.

He's young, archetypal for what you want in a PL striker (big and fast), is PL-proven, and has a lot of upside. We'd be idiots not to sign him, and furthermore, allow one of our rivals to snatch him up.

They also make out like we will be playing Bayern and Barca ever week and not Stoke, West Ham and Palace.

We need players that get us back to a position of these games being pretty much nailed on 3 points every week and stop getting hung up on the precious few superstars that are available at the moment.

Lacazette, good enough to do the job without being overly special, might struggle to have the same impact in the PL.

Belotti, I want to see another season. I don't want another "prospect" we have martial and rashford as attacking prospects/development players. We need a finished product.

Regarding just Lukaku and Belotti, the PL experience is a big difference. I prefer Belotti because I feel he would condition our game less, he could partner Rashford or Martial, while Lukaku must probably play alone. With prospects sometimes you can't wait that much time, you have to risk it.
 
Lukaku for me.

Losing Ibra means it'd be great to have a young, powerful, proven EPL striker to replace him.

And yes, Mourinho did sell him, but he also sold Mata, and he had a pretty good season under Jose for us! Abramovich liked to meddle after all...
