Liverpool won't be planning on Torres leaving and will be hopeful that he doesn't.
You're reading this wrong in my view.
He's gone in the Summer, trust me.

Looking at his performances this season and his attitude during games, I'd believe you, but where would he move to? Barca do not need him, he sure as hell would not sign for Madrid. Italy? Or even Chelsea or City? Nothing's been mentioned in the papers about a possible departure though?!He's gone in the Summer, trust me.
Ridiculous thing to say. It's as if you can just use it to automatically win any argument.
Trust you? Why should we "trust" you?
A Serie A giant, Chelsea or City will bag him says Marcotti.Looking at his performances this season and his attitude during games, I'd believe you, but where would he move to? A season without european football for Liverpool -> Gerrard, Torres, Reina and maybe also Kuyt are off.
Hmm the next Kezman or Afonso Alves?
I'd have thought the reasons behind the strong belief why Torres will be off in the Summer would be so apparent to any follower of the PL that stating them would be almost patronizing...
Torres is a member of the elusive "genuine World Class striker" club. That is to say, it is universally accepted that in his given position, when in form, there are none better. He's a star member of a World Cup winning national squad, a European Cup winning national side.
Now lets look at the situation of Liverpool -
1. No CL league football again
2. No European football at all increasingly likely
3. Not contending for PL title again
4. Manager who bought Torres has gone
5. Manager who succeeded said manager is of a lower caliber and fails miserably.
6. Torres interest on pitch is palpably low - to the point of it actually being uncomfortable to watch at times.
7. Liverpool, despite needing to spend in other areas (wide), spend over 20m on a CF in January, two weeks after their manager is sacked.
He's off in the Summer and they know it. I'm surprised this a controversial opinion!
Man CityWho is going to buy him, out of interest?
Torres will be done in the summer.
and Suarez will become crap if Liverpool get him.
So thats what happened to Kuyt?
Man City
Tevez, Santa Cruz, Adebayor and Jo, maybe one of the this players (Of course not Tevez) in a player+cash deal to LiverpoolSo who is leaving Shitty? And where are they going?
Do you wanna a bet?Neither Reina, Gerrard or Torres will be off in the summer.

Next season: Torres, Dzeko, Balotelli
Only on loan.Santa Cruz has gone back to Blackburn hasn't he?
Remembering Torres... I Chose Liverpool because I came here to win trophies... I wonder what he's thinking now ?
well Kyut was not much to start with. now he is just shit.

Dirk Kuyt is a CF, he is wasted in RW as he can't beat his Full back... Terrible season for Kuyt and has hardly produced anything on the Right wing this season.
Thing is he's been forced to play right wing because he's not good enough to play CF, for club or country.
Neither Reina, Gerrard or Torres will be off in the summer. .
both teams not agreeing on the fee
Liverpool have made a £12.7m bid for the 24-year-old and Reds director of football strategy Damien Comolli travelled to Amsterdam on Monday.
BBC Sport - Football - Ajax want 'respectful' Luis Suarez bid
It's hilarious really. Liverpool really do seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel.
If they're so poor, maybe they need to start looking at worse players, rather than embarrassing themselves.
Their tactic seems to be to unsettle the players and get the players to force through a transfer - and by that way hope to hold the upper hand in terms of the transfer fees.
