Luis Suarez - Barcelona Player

PL teams/defences will surely lose that fear factor they had when played against them last season.

Massive lose for them, they have lost there only world class player and will find it hard to replace him. We lost CR7 and found it hard, that's when we were on top? Liverpool simply can't attract a player of his caliber at the moment. Sanchez really would have been a quality signing for them. Not saying it because I support United but they haven't won enough in the last 25 years to attract the big name. Why would a player go to a club that hasn't won a lot in his lifetime? I obviously know Liverpool have a rich history trophy wise. If a great player is in his mid 20's from the continent, what will he remember? Istanbul or a random FA cup. Liverpool are in trouble and I seriously doubt a top 4 finish. Physiologically the team have been dealt a huge blow. When you need a moment of pure genius who do you turn to now? A world player can change a game on his own even when he's playing badly. Sturridge is a good player but he's not world class. If you think Bony or Origi is the answer you are delusional. Then again most of them are and wouldn't admit this.

"We are Liverpool la la la la!"

Im sure its been said but has there ever been a deadlier attacking threat than Messi Suarez Neymar in one team?

There are a couple I can think of that perhaps sounded great on paper, but didn't really deliver. If this one delivers it'll be phenomenal, but I'm sceptical as to whether they'll be able to get all three to work well together, especially Suarez who's more accustomed to a central role at Liverpool in which he's strongest.

It looks good on paper but lets see how they play together.

So far Barca have found it difficult to integrate other "star" forwards with Messi.

Sounds strange to say about a 64m transfer, but it's a relative bargain IMO.

Suarez's last gift to Liverpool was to rob them of around 15m in transfer fees along with the countless bans. What a guy.

Good business sense from the Pool to increase the buyout clause amount. He has the opportunity now to play on the world stage for a truly great club and live in a world class city - or stay in Liverpool.

Wish life's decisions were all that easy.

I can't wait to see the first El Clasico that he plays in.
Stamping, diving, two footed mad bastard lunges. Any of those things could happen, problem is, Spanish football is accustomed to diving a cheating, it's all part of the game.

I just hope he bites someone again, what possible excuse could he use then? I guess the ole "I fell in his direction with my mouth open" could work again.

Thinking about it, the insertion of a buyout clause at that level is basically an agreement that he can go if he's good enough.

I mean the idea of a buyout clause is that its there to prevent the player leaving or to ensure that the club gets a good deal if they do go.

But when the player's open market value reaches or exceeds that buyout clause it flips round and becomes a problem for the club. They cant stop a player leaving, perhaps for less than he's worth.

Maybe he'll just start being more honest and say, "I was hungry."

There's examples from the exact same club. Ibrahimovic and Messi.

I suspect it'll be too many cooks. All those three are very much in the same mould. It wouldn't surprise me if they all end up drifting into similar areas.

That said, some have suggested Messi will play a deeper role in the future as he slows down (relatively speaking).

Yeah, I was thinking of that. Or Eto'o-Messi-Henry, which largely delivered although Henry didn't really reach his Arsenal heights there.

Code:
Suarez
Neymar - Messi
Iniesta
Busquets - Rakitic
Alba - Pique - ??? - ???
Stegen

New CB and RB and they're laughing their way to the treble next season IMO.

I think he will hit the ground running once he starts playing. Unlike neymar he is a fully developed player in his prime and has experience in the top league. He will have a similar effect on barca that bale had on Madrid.

Prefer both of those (on paper) to Barca's current front three. Mainly on the basis that I think Neymar is massively over-rated.

Messi's better than all of them though, Suarez is in better form than Eto'o, Henry, Rooney and Tevez were in those attacking three's, and Neymar will vastly improve this coming season IMO.

This front three could rival the Messi/Pedro/Villa trident from 2011, and they formed a very special understanding.

"Luis recognised his error but we've seen that for FIFA saying sorry is not an important factor," added Balbi.

"Justice will take its time but it will come. We knew that FIFA would uphold the ban because they are corporatists. We will not stop, we are going to go to the CAS and we will keep taking the juridical path that is available to us."
