Luis Suarez - Barcelona Player

At least he won't have to put up with the British Press harassing him :lol:

Massive lose for them, they have lost there only world class player and will find it hard to replace him. We lost CR7 and found it hard, that's when we were on top? Liverpool simply can't attract a player of his caliber at the moment. Sanchez really would have been a quality signing for them. Not saying it because I support United but they haven't won enough in the last 25 years to attract the big name. Why would a player go to a club that hasn't won a lot in his lifetime? I obviously know Liverpool have a rich history trophy wise. If a great player is in his mid 20's from the continent, what will he remember? Istanbul or a random FA cup. Liverpool are in trouble and I seriously doubt a top 4 finish. Physiologically the team have been dealt a huge blow. When you need a moment of pure genius who do you turn to now? A world player can change a game on his own even when he's playing badly. Sturridge is a good player but he's not world class. If you think Bony or Origi is the answer you are delusional. Then again most of them are and wouldn't admit this.

If they'd kept Suarez or got Sanchez it would have offered a platform. Right now, they have nothing.

Funny how he never mentioned his life-long ambition to live in Spain when he wanted to move to Arsenal last summer.

Of the 81M Barcelona paid for Luis Suarez, 76M are for Liverpool and 5M go to his former clubs as training compensation. [md]

Oh look at that, Barca/Real has bought one of the best players in the world again for a astronomical amount. Yawn.

Barcelona seems to be the club that all the top nob-heads join, never seen so many cnuts in one team...

Remember when he apparently was dead certain to stay?

Oh this is fun.

Remember when he was going to go for 150m Euros?

Remember when he was compared to Cantona by redman and said that Liverpool remind him of United of 92-93?

Neymar, Mascherano, Alves, Alba, Busquets and Suarez vs Pepe, Ramos,

Yep, its not even close anymore, Barca have heaps more cnuts in their squad than Real do. With Ancelotti still there and assuming they give us Di Maria...I might actually like those Franco bastards :nervous:

The arms race in Spain continues. Hopefully Real will respond and we can pick up a bargain as they discard old stock. In purely football terms, he's a great player but they might have been better filling the Puyol-sized hole at the back.

Does anybody know whether Barca have some good young players coming through on the production line? The question I guess is whether La Masia truly is a gold mine or whether they just had a unique generation coming through like us 20 years ago.

I am happy he is out of the PL. All the bs surrounding him was nauseating. With him in Spain it is a lot easier for me to ignore him.

Funny how all the arrogant, deluded scousers on here scoffed at the idea of him joining a bigger team this summer.

Last season when plenty on here felt he would be off this summer, they got smart arse and smug at anyone with such an outrageous prediction. I'm delighted.

They were dreaming if they thought the new deal he signed was anything but a clarification of his buy out clause. I'm sure the club has known it was coming even if their fans refused to accept it.
