Luis Suarez - Barcelona Player

Im sure its been said but has there ever been a deadlier attacking threat than Messi Suarez Neymar in one team?

I think Jimmy Greaves and Alan Gilzean, whilst not as glamorous, were easily as dangerous. Greaves is still, to me, the greatest striker ever to play the game.

Here's hoping he blows up in the semi-final of the CL and gets sent off. I lose all respect for any team willing to play him.

So he's a feckin terrorist now.

Is there no end to his evil ?

I can't see why people try to justify his actions my comparing him to terrorists and the like. He and his actions are a blight on the game of football. A game I love. I didn't say I hate him or the club he plays for, Just that I do not respect him or any club who would play him.

Annoying that he's gone to Barcelona and is surrounded by much better players. Would rather have see him go to psg and become irrelevant.

Sad to see once again the PLs best player leave to the Spanish duopoly.

£65 seems cheap too. Thought it would be a record fee.

Liverpool will fall backwards after this. They can't attract top players even if they have money and Suarez is worth twice that to their team.

The Spanish duopoly are so far ahead of us its beyond belief that 6 years ago we were up there with them.

Good riddance to him. It's even better that the scousers didn't get the fee they thought they would .

Ronaldinho-Eto-Messi

By the time Messi was really starting to emerge as a world class player, Ronaldinho was on the wane if I remember correctly. Although the three of them at their very best would've been a ridiculous front three.

Great signing, just will have to see how he is going to be deployed by Lucho. I remember him being linked to Barcelona as long ago as Ajax and that seems ages ago now. As strikers go, you'd be hard pressed to find a more lethal #9 - so much more than just a goalscorer which will likely mean he will gel well on the pitch. Great engine, passing & workrate in defense means Barcelona is getting a world class goalscorer that should lessen the burden for others, i.e. Neymar & Messi

Apart from the obvious which we all know, what do Reds fans have to say regarding how he was as a teammate?

The time where Ronaldinho and Eto was world class and Messi was emerging (although not world class), and they absolutely demolished the Galacticos Madrid

Ronaldinho actually said he wasn't even the best player at Barcelona (aluding to Messi) when he won his second World Player of the Year award. That was cool.

Suarez isn't a selfish player either, that should send even more alarm bells ringing in Madrid. If him, Messi and Neymar are going to play for the team, only one winner next season, and it aint Atletico or Real.

In fairness to Suarez, that was the biggest thing he changed last year. He was a fantastic team player.

I hate Suarez but I also wish he wasn't such a cnut because he's a waste of a wonderful talent in terms of the world loving him.

This has been coming for a long time, its only the Liverpool fans that couldnt see it or want to believe it. Even after all the crap he has pulled they still put their faith in the clown. You would think they would have learnt their lesson. They still laud him though which i find a little strange, they have slated almost every striker that has left them yet this guy they wont say a bad word against despite him cheating, lying, biting and all the other stuff and stabs them in the back, more than once. We all knew there was only one reason why he signed the new contract and that was to guarantee that he had a concrete buyout clause in it. Why they believed he would stay heaven knows. If anyone deserved to be slated when he left its this clown, yet they are thanking him and that. Yes he is a brilliant footballer but i just dont get it.

I have heard it all today from it doesnt matter, hes gone, so what? To we dont need him anyway, we have Sturridge and he coped fine on his own before. So they have gone from having the 3rd best player in the world, even on a par with Ronaldo and Messi (so they said) to now it doesnt matter and they dont really need him anyway. He is going to be a huge miss and not just his goals, it also wont just effect Liverpool but also the opposition.

He will fit in well at Barca though, he suits that league with the way he acts, not too sure how it is going to pan out when he isnt the main focus point of the team though. I think he will find it tough and he has shown time and again that when the going gets tough or he doesnt think things are going his way he starts to act up and do stupid things more. La Liga has tougher, more cynical defenders than most PL teams so id like to see how he copes with them. I cant wait to see Pepe up against him, its going to carnage.

@FCBarca Luis demands the utmost quality from teammates. He hates losing. I would say he is a large influence on Sterling's improvement.

But he needs to be the main man or it doesn't work for him. Sturridge to his credit played second fiddle to him without complaining. Neymr may admit he's better but Messi owns Barca and there could be comments coming out through Luis' agents sooner rather than later.

He has a track record as you know.

Dumbster thought they were going to get £120 million :lol::lol:

I don't see how Messi can play in the hole next year, unless Pedro and Neymar go on the wings. Can Messi still play Rw and more importantly is he happy to play on the wings. I'd have kept Sanchez.

Suarez
Neymar Messi Sanchez
Iniesta Mascherano
Alba CB Pique Alves
Stegen

Doesn't look viable to me with that front 4 and Iniesta playing in a 2 man midfield

Even if the fee is undisclosed, I don't understand why BBCs fee is so different to the others. I could understand if British press were different to Spanish press, but SSN has it as 64.3m.

Can you imagine anyone taking the ball of them, these feckers have played Alex Song in defence..

64M£ eh? Didn't Barney assure us he wouldn't leave for less than 80?

Anyway, apart for a few exceptions, that Barça team is littered with cnuts. Never really cared about Real or them, but I'm gonna find it hard not to prefer Madrid now. Ramos and Pepe though...
