£60m is a good fee for Suarez. He is significantly older than Neymar or Bale so should be quite a bit less. He probably has 6 years before his value turns to nil - anything more than £60m would be a hell of a spend per season for him, especially given that he will probably get banned again.

He's one of the top 3 players in the world. He's worth more than twice as much as Fellaini or Isco...

So many fans seem to forget how clubs value players as depreciating assets. Suarez is 27, so worth much less than the likes of Neymar or Bale.

First of all, Ronaldo is significantly better than Suarez. He is also I would argue a better athlete. He probably has the same number of years left at the top level as Suarez. So I would say he is worth more in any case. BUT, he won't be going anywhere. Only clubs who don't really need to do any sums (and there might not be any now) would actually pay £60m for a player with 5-6 years left, Real won't sell for less, so it just means he will stay.
