Deserves same treatment which Young got... being kept out. Only fair.
Young or Valencia get booed - a good indicator of how bad they were. Nani gets booed - What a despicable behaviour, disgusting!
Contrary to what some may think I'm the last person to want to see him go as I remember him scoring the massively important penalty against Chelsea and behaving adorably during the transfer saga last year. It doesn't mean we can use double standards every time he has a bad game. Call a spade a spade, that was a horrific game.

That's only one game though, everyone can have a bad day. Those who booed are in fact morons.

Being kept out for one poor game? Really? It's not comparable to Young at all. He's not had one great game this season.

Nani hasn't done much better. He is one of the most frustrating player in our team considering the quality which he has got. I have always hoped he would pick up and move 'next level' at some stage but it has never happened and doubt it will.

For one bad match, in which he still set-up a goal? Right.

Young played about 4 matches without doing a single thing. Come back in another few matches to push your agenda.

Agenda? The hypocrisy regarding some of the players is laughable. For some players like Nani and Kagawa, if they have 1 bad game it is 'just one game' but for others a small mistake in a match is criminal.

That's ridiculous.

It is not.

I actually think he should've left in the summer. The fans just seem to hate him, he can't have a bad performance without them going mental at him and today was a new low.

The performance would've annoyed fans but I'm convinced it's him walking off that pushed them over the edge into booing.

Today was a bit of a grey area in my opinion. It's harsh to boo your own players but the fans are desperate for United to win and there's Nani, strolling off when we're losing, seemingly not too worried. I can understand why the fans were pissed off.

When did that happen?
Either early this season or at the end of the last one. I've got told on here that he deserved it. feck me, the person actually argumented his shitedness with the fact he got booed. Not that many others came with common sense like they did today, only that it concerns Nani.

Yes, booing was not a very good thing to do. I too would love if he can start realizing his potential as against the ridiculous accusation of 'agenda' but I am out of patience now. I am generally one of those who supports our players to the hilt but I am tired with Nani now. if he can prove me or some others wrong, I would be delighted but as you said, some need to call a spade a spade or at least stop being partial to some players.

Well there are a few saying Nani deserved it too, I don't think anyone who isn't a fecking Ihni binni dimi diniwiny anitaime would condone the idea of any of our players getting booed, no matter their preference.

I can't stand Ashley Young, I'd still be pissed off if he got a reaction like Nani did today.

Really? Come on then show me where I've turned against a player for one small mistake. I very rarely slag off our players... if, like Young, you are consistently shit in just about everything you do for a run of games, I won't pretend you're any good.

Come on, show me.

 Yeah, to be fair, a run of one shit game in a row is probably a bit longer than anybody can be expected to put up with.

(Unless they went to the clue shop and bought themselves one, that is)

 It sounded to me "you and me... out... now"
Where did I say specifically you have turned against a player? I don't keep track of every poster's every comment here. It is the general theme at the moment here and that was what I was pointing out.

How many years he has been here and how much he has contributed to the team except one season?
One game. Yeah right.

Well, you're wrong, seeing as people who were at the game already said that wasn't the reason.

There's no exact science to these things. It's quite possible only a tiny few booed when his name was announced but everyone else joined in when they saw him strolling off.

He was about the best winger in the league for over two seasons form 2010-2012. Last season got screwed up with injury and contract shit. He's played very well in the last few matches, so how you can say you've run out of patience after one bad match is beyond me.

 It sounded to me "you and me... out... now"

As Jason Mcateer once famously said on an aeroplane.

Well you replied to my post with the stuff about hypocrisy. If you didn't mean me, fair enough.

Yeah there is, they're called ears.

Well watch it back and you'll hear the booing get louder as he starts to walk off. AN was in the Stretty and if you read his post again you'll see he wasn't too sure about the rest of the stands.

I know mate about his talent and how good he can be. His decision making never improved and it is biggest disappointment for me. Remember how Rooney used to express his anger at Nani's bad decision making in key areas few years ago? Today Rooney's body language clearly showed that he has given up on Nani(when Nani tried shots from ridiculous positions when he could have passed to Rooney/RvP). His crossing remains a good weapon when he tries but either he needs to work very hard on shooting and improve where at least some go in or he needs to start passing to players in space when he is in good position having taken couple of defenders with him.

No, obviously I wasn't pointing to you or a particular poster. What I pointed out was general theme so far this season from fans here.

No worse than Kagawa or RVP yet I believe he will be the main culprit for criticism.

Didn't fulfill his defensive duties well enough today. But wasn't too bad in attack. Yes he had a couple of long shots that went off target. However, he did create the first goal with a wonderful cross to Rooney.

I might have a bit of Nani-blindness, but I still think we look so much more dangerous with him in the side. He tries things, hits shots cleanly from distance, and generally offers a bit of unpredictability when we often look scarily static. Plus he's still clearly working his way back to fitness. Yeah, his 'final product' was missing for most of the game today, but I still want him in the team every week.

Every mistake he made earned a load of abuse from the fans. And the substitution was met with loud, sarcastic cheers. I don't think he was booed simply because he was walking off the pitch.

That is what i thought.People were frustrated by a couple of wayward shots and by him losing the ball easily but really it could have been directed at several players. It just happened that today the frustration was aimed at Nani.I do like him but today he made me cross. They all pissed me off!

It does remind me of how a lot of OT fans have been with Giggs over his career. "feckin' hell Giggs you shithouse, get him off the pitch" must be about the single phrase I've heard the most over the years...

The bile directed at him on this site was every bit as bad as the booing from those at the game. Some "fans", eh?

This is how imagine some were sat at home earlier watching the game:

Why would you boo someone that quite clearly is a confidence player? A lot of posters can't even wait for a run of bad form before they revert to type... pricks. Annoys me...

The booing was harsh but who does he think he is that he can stroll off the pitch when we're losing?

This. Pretty sure one of the United players actually went up to him to speed him up a little as well - although maybe I'm wrong there.

I thought he could've been telling him not to worry himself about the boos.

Not that I condone the boos, but I can'imagine any reason why he was not in more of a hurry to get off the pitch though? It's not like he'd had a good performance and was walking slowly to soak up the adulation or something.

He probably should have ran off, but as you said, it still doesn't condone the booing. It was a disgrace.

People are stupid when it comes to Nani...Tony V has been shit for nearly all of 18 months and never got booed.

Anyways Nani is a winner, and he is mentally strong so it won't have an affect on him

5 year contract  kin hell you couldn't make it up.

As for the booing, I didn't but plenty around did and fair play to them. They pay good money to watch him regularly underachieve.

feck off.

You'd have to be an absolute moron to boo any player wearing the shirt of the club you 'support'. The same goes for people like you, who give the cnuts credit for doing it.
