Excellent news. Perhaps this summer will turn out okay afterall, if we can get Wayne and Nani back to their best and hungry for more success as well as at least bolstering our midfield numbers.
Happy to see him sign for 5 years and I hope that he continues to improve his distribution (the only thing stopping him being truly world class IMO) and we'll see the best years of his career.
Love it.. He's become the "forgotten man" but once he gets a healthy spell in the team, he will cement his place in the team for the big games.

Given the reaction to the Juve news it seems the reaction would've been similar regardless, and you'd think signing up Nani a week ago would've given he fans a bit more confidence in the club/Woodward before the transfer deadline day rush which is similarly beneficial from a PR perspective.
This should give Nani that extra bit of confidence he needs. No need to try and prove himself now. I expect to see him come into his own now. Very pleased.

Surprised and delighted by this, I've always been overly critical of Nani but on his day there are few better players in the Premier League. Thought we looked immediately more dangerous when he came on v Liverpool.
Hopefully he gets a run of games after the break because he's very much a confidence player.
