His first touch is just .

For a player that's not a particularly reputed passer he makes those stupidly difficult outside of the foot passes look easy every now and then.

That one to Hernandez where he (Hernandez) ended up handballing it was just

Disagree. Valencias wasn't as flashy but Cole may as well not been on the pitch the last time they met.

Agreed. Valencia definitely gave Cole a harder time. Nani wasn't really playing as a winger today, though, he spent a lot of time centrally. As a result, he was taking the piss out of a whole load of Chelsea players, as opposed to just beasting Cole the way Valencia did.

I don't think Cole could walk straight for a week after Valenica was finished with him.

He's the best winger in the league and it's not even close. Also, he consistently shows up for the big games with goals or assists, he killed Cole and the whole Chelsea team today. He might be slightly wasteful at times but he more than makes up for it. Great player, we're lucky to have him.

I really wanted him to score that goal, instead of hitting the bar. Would've been a GRRRRRREAT way to kill the match. Damn.

His first touch is just .

For a player that's not a particularly reputed passer he makes those stupidly difficult outside of the foot passes look easy every now and then. Getting back into his single-handedly carrying the attack form, with Young, Anderson and Rooney in particularly good form to go along with it there's a few more big score games to come.

Yep, he's ridiculously creative with his passing and he's always linking up with whoever plays fullback extremely well.

I think dribbling wise he's one of the best in the world, the way he can show the ball to a defender then take it away its amazing. Turns on a sixpence too.

I liked his two against Bayern, was fantastic that whole game.

The one versus Arsenal where did Clichy with that ridiculous piece of skill was also class.

Also Nani tends to be brilliant in big games, I don't think it gets pointed out enough whenever Nani is discussed. He always seems to have an impact no matter how good the opposition fullback is supposed to be. Since his game progressed he's performed very well against all of Chelsea, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and of course in loads of Champions League games. Makes it all the more annoying he lost form towards the end of last season.

I honestly think Nani is generally at his best when under pressure because he has so much natural talent. I think that's why he was so good today as Chelsea pressured him whenever he got the ball and gave him little time to think. It's when he has a bit of time and space on his hands that he usually fluffs it. It showed a couple of times today when he happily dribbled past a couple of Chelsea players only to scuff the final ball when he found himself in a bit of space. I love him though, I think he's outstanding and the player in our side most likely to provide a bit of magic or a 'wow' moment.

Ok, just looked it up again to be sure. You`re right, tevez played that game. He ducks his head just before the ball goes past him so don`t think it flicked him. Was just great that as soon as he got a hold of it he let it loose. With the boro one there was more dribbling past players for fun and curled in the corner. Both sublime goals.

He's the best winger in the world right now. Ronaldo and Messi are no longer wingers so I'm not counting them.

It definitely flicked off Tevez, no question.

Out and out winger I'd say Nani is the best. Depends on how you classify a winger. Messi no longer plays out wide so can't count him. Ronaldo still plays as a wide forward though.

Does the lad have a chant yet?

Best winger in the prem, by a distance! Only current problem is he has a pretty low "bottom level" when things aren't going too well. Let's hope he gets the consistency together for the whole season.

He was toying with Cole at times.I love the nutmeg he gave him when Cashley tried to tackle him, so fecking humiliating

Aye, I was loving that to bits. A.Hole must have nightmares when Chelsea faces United these days. And for good measure, SAF still brings on Valencia at RB to attack down Cole's wing as well

Couldn't happen to a nicer fella then Cole I tell ya!

When the ball hits the net
and your boxers turn wet
it's Naniii

He likes to merk Cole
gets right in his arse hole
oh yes Naniiiiiiii

The best thing is the second best winger in the Prem plays in our first team, Ashley Young! His set piece delivery is Beckham esque. We're so spoilt at times.

I like that old classic, Nani Nani Nani Nani Nani Nani Nani Nani FOOTBALL

He was outstanding today, and that shoulder barge near the goal line in the 1st half, it had swagger about it.

I would agree with this in years past, but Nani really seems to be integrating into the team so much better these days.

For instance at one point in the game today he was on the left, dribbled towards the center, got around his man, and I was sure he was going to blast one. Instead he passed to Rooney and while it did not come off, I was very impressed as his run was dragging the whole of Chelsea in his wake and Rooney was almost open against the grain with an angled pass.

Not sure I am describing this so well, but the point is his vision has increased so much and he creates so many options for us when he is on his game like today now.

Nani versus Ronaldo, goals and assists over their first 100 league matches for United – 52 versus 31.- Guardian.

Were we as hard on Ronaldo during his early days as we are on Nani?
