It's bollocks, we're making it hard for City to figure out who and how we will play.

Seems fine in this pic..

That's obviously the hospital kart.

So Rooney, nani and DDG all set to miss out.

Thank god the sun knows what's happening

The £25m winger?

Still it was a good read

Sun seem to have made a habit out of converting what we paid in Euros at the time into the current exchange rate, as bizzare as that seems.

Has there been any reports on Nani?

Unlikely, I know. We'll know when the team sheets are out, I guess.

Lack of news is good news for me. He hasn't been ruled out so I don't think it is all that serious. That is my logic anyway. :nervous:

Press conference was done on the Thursday, so any injury news (good or bad) is not going to be confirmed by us until they speak to Fergie just before kick off.

Its also hilarious to try and judge how he is based on a few random pictures of him walking around and sitting on a golf cart!

kps88 is right, it's not standard procedure for us to brief the press about such matters outside of a press conference or scheduled interview.

No one is talking now until just before the game tomorrow.

I was wondering whether there'd been any ITK, "source" type stuff doing the rounds. Evidently not.

I happen to think that this might be some good old fashioned Fergie mischief making.

Seems like its still all silent on the injury reports and who will be available. I guess Fergie is keeping his team selection very tight to his chest. Might have something to do with the entire team spending a few days in Wales though. Only news related to the derby is mancini spouting his usual "mind games" nonsense about how tevez is destined to score the winner tonight.

Looks like it was all b.s after all then aye

Has been quite useless to be honest. Needs to play it simple instead of going for highlight material. Rooney looking frustrated with him.

This post alone shows how clueless most football fans are, he's played it pretty simple, what more should he should do? Become Messi?

Park has been poor though. I'd go Park for Valencia, Giggs for Wellbeck, take it to them!

We should bring Valencia on and put Nani in the middle. At least he can carry the ball forward and commit players. Always capable of scoring too.

Last time we come from behind against City in the CS, they struggled against the pace of Cleverley and Ando in the middle. Nani there for a while may cause them a few problems, worth a go id say!

Fergie should have hauled him off for Valencia earlier when he was trying to do flicks when surrounded by three players- even though nothing had been going for him all game.

Welbeck fouled by De Jong. Free kick to United. Nani steps up. Good delivery needed. Takes the free kick. Does not even pass the first defender. Phathetic.
Is that what a player with his ability does... cant figure that one.

And oh, we offering him a new contract.

Nights like these do bring out the best in people.

Why the need? If you're gonna play 4-4-1-1 then play Rooney and Welbeck, seeing as that is there actual positions.

I don't think Nani was helped out by a poor Rooney offering nothing via link up, ditto Park, and whilst Jones added defensively, attackingly he just can't link up as well as Rafael can because he's not as comfortable on the ball, or as natural in terms of attacking movement, which is always gonna stifle the winger as city could double up on him.

Wish we'd had a player like Bale on the pitch, to be honest.

To be honest I just can't comprehend why he wasn't played on the left with Valencia on the right. The only reason I can think of is because he has a good record against Clichy, but surely that's not enough, surely?

Say what you want about Nani but he was probably our lone threat on the counter and the one player that actually could take on a defender and try and beat them. Thats more than could be said about the other 10 players on the pitch tonight.

Most of the time he was draped with 2-3 players around him with no help in sight. That was the difference as to why silva, nasri and co. could always find someone to pass to and we couldn't crowd them; they committed players forwards and tried to attack. Our central midfielders were too happy to just sit slightly in front of the centre circle.
