Heard from a couple of people that are in the know and are usually pretty reliable. I wont throw names around or anything as I really hope it isnt true!

Would be gutted if he left!

has Nani throw up a fuss like Ronaldo that he wants to leave the club, or else there's no chance he be going...

It sounds dumb, but we shouldn't even be feeding this shit. It would not surprise me if the standard of journalism was such that rumours were polluted through the media as a result of reading them off websites such as these, in turn, actually causing something to happen in some cases.

There should be a ban on posting all pointless speculation, to be honest. There is genuinely nothing to be gained from it and, to be honest, all it does is strengthen rumours which are probably absolutely baseless in the first place.

I agree with this. I'm more surprised how some people are stupid to believe that crap.

Not at all, I've been keeping up with our amazing injury performances for several seasons. I just happened to find several strange things when I checked it this morning!

It's not strange if they don't have a return date for Nani. From everything I've seen, Physioroom is just a summary of everything that is either published by the clubs or the media. Since we haven't said anything about Nani other than 'a knock in training' - like a time frame for his expected return - they have no way of knowing.

how do you distinct "posting shit" from providing information that is actually true but unbelievable? Scholes' coming back from retirement was disregarded by many (me included).

even players didn't know he was coming back, it was just a wild guess.

Wow... so "usually" they're "pretty" reliable? Well then...

Call me skpetical, but i do think there may be some sort of bust-up between Nani and Fergie and the manager is leaving him out of the team for a considerable period of time until he learns.

 Can I call you an idiot instead?

He was on TV after a Portugal game a few weeks and basically said he was going to sign a contract. I'm preeeetty sure he's staying.

That's nice news. My point was in regards to fuelling matters which we could have absolutely no idea as to their validity that wouldn't be so nice.

It may seem paranoid, but the standard of journalism is just so bad that it's not even worth it, in my opinion. I mean, didn't this place start a huge Kaka to United rumour?

Who would actually buy him?

Barcelona and Real Madrid wouldn't... City would. AC Milan maybe? Inter Milan maybe?

Quality players like him will always be snapped up by someone. He is a young, extremely talented player who on his day can screw with any defence. I'm pretty sure even Barca and Real can find place for him in their squad.

why not? on his day he is better than Real's and Barca's wingers (or wide players other than Messi and Ronaldo obviously)

"There are no problems with injuries," Sir Alex told ManUtd.com. "It’s much better now. There was Jones getting that bout of ‘flu but he’s back. Jones was actually back on Friday but we didn’t risk him on Sunday. He’ll be available [for the Fulham game].

"So they’re all training apart from Nani, who should not be far away and might start training this week, while Anderson and Michael Owen are the only other ones out. Nemanja Vidic and Darren Fletcher are obviously still long term."

So hooray we aren't selling him then.

Can we stop calling these two wide players now?

They play through the middle and are undoubtedly Strikers. They may drift to the wings occasionally but probably less than Henry did on the left in his peak and he was an out and out striker.

Well not quite...Messi is mostly central now in his false 9 role, but can still drift wide to compensate for the runs of Fabregas, Iniesta and even Xavi whos scoring more than ever at the moment......and Ronaldo has almost exclusively been employed on the right coming inside this year.

Its ridiculous to call Messi a wide player. Its like calling Rooney one. Drifting wide occasionally doesnt make you a wide player. Ronaldo is more debatable as his stationary position is often out wide and not centrally.

Where is he, I haven't seen him in ages?

(Nani are you ok?)

Usual thing with the Telegraph, slotting in something totally unrelated to any story they write, but here's the quote anyway:

Meanwhile, Ferguson confirmed winger Nani would again be missing when United head to Blackburn on Monday.
The Portugal international has missed four games with an ankle injury and was expected to return to training early this week.
"He won't be back until tomorrow and Monday will come too soon," said the United boss.

So is he back in training, could do with him against QPR?

Quite like him and Valencia on the wings, plus i can see Hughes doing a job on Valencia which should free up a bit of space on our left for Nani..

Nani and Valencia on top form from either wings would be such a fecking amazing sight!

Unstoppable?

Has it ever happened on a regular basis though? It seems as though one turns it on at the same time as the other having a few low key games.

I think against bayern at home 2 years ago was the closest we've had?.
