Television Love Island 2019

The situation annoys me. People have seen a girl that they identify with (just because she got pied for another girl), and now anything he does he's the bad guy. Hes allowed to like someone other than Amber. He's told Amber multiple times it's not happening and other islanders keep feeding her bullshit so she just won't let it go. To the point where it actually affected his relationship. He's allowed to be pissed off and hes allowed to be blunt because nothing else seems to work on that island.

The best one was when he tried to make a mends with Amber, they had a nice chat and that should have been that. Islanders fill her head with crap, Molly Mae shit stirs Infront of Joanna. Joanna questions their chat, and all Amber can do is repeat what islanders have said to her, "Did it look like we were over?"

It's a joke. I don't blame Amber, i think she's young and impressionable. It's the islanders and producer's form filling her head and scripting this.

Some people see it like that and some seem to identify with men who treat girls like shite and have no regard for their feelings. It's not about Michael not being allowed to like anyone else. It's about the way he's handled it. On their date before Casa Amor he was going on about how great Amber is and how she'll fit right in with his family, they'll love her, etc. Then he jumps ship immediately and instead of manning up and taking full responsibility he turns it around on Amber, invents things and plays the victim card. It's a bit pathetic and weirdly his fanboys lap it all up.

He could have took her aside, told her he'd met someone who he likes and is going to pursue, apologise for hurting her and make it clear things were done and there are no feelings for her in that way anymore. He clearly didn't which is why Joanna had to get the three of them together to try to find out what had actually been said. I agree with you that the girls have been shit-stirring but Michael also has to take responsibility for Joanna having doubts about his intentions.

I'm not buying his excuse that by staying in the villa this is a 'good test' for his relationship with Joanna. If he liked her as much as he claims to he surely would have walked with her but he chose to stay which is another selfish thing because A) you're making Joanna look like a mug sending her home on her own and staying in a villa with your ex and B) it's going to ruin Amber's last two weeks. Even his mates Tommy and Curtis thought he should have left with Joanna yet he's still lingering around being an absolute cnut.

But anyway, I feel like a sad cnut for getting so invested in this show.

Have any of them ever actually walked when the person they were with got dumped? They give it all the oh I'm so conflicted I miss them etc but have any of them ever actually turned around there and then and said I've found what I'm looking for I'm going too as I have no need to stay?

I asked my partner this the other day and she said Samira did with the guy whose name I can't recall. Apart from her nobody else has done that to my knowledge.

A bloke called rykar did really early on one year

Molly Mae is biggest shit stirrer in there and for whatever reason people have turned a blind eye all series long.

Agreed, I really don't like her. I said to my girlfriend last night that the way she interfered between Belle and Anton, when it had nowt to do with her really, showed she thinks they are a threat and is trying to control and manipulate other people at all times.

Michael should have ran away from Joanna the second she said that she wanted their future kids to have Louis Vuitton bags

She’s Chilwell’s ex. It’s absolutely guaranteed that she will date another footballer as soon as she is out the villa.

He could have handled casa amor differently, 100%. However, that was weeks ago and theyve kissed and made up since. It doesn't justify essentially ruining his relationship. He could have handled it better but they all should have moved on and let him crack on with his relationship. They didnt and nots really fair on him. Tommy only has 50k on his mind and Curtis is a weapon.

Rykard and Samira did. However there's far more who didn't who still ended up having a relationship outside. Off the top of my head there was Adam and Zara last year, Dom and Jess season 2 (they're married with a kid now i believe) and a few more.

Anyone think Curtis has only picked Maura as he has more chance of winning with her? Surprised shes so keen on him he seems a bit of a drip.

Since reading those comments on Molly, which i hadn't noticed but then I'm only really half watching, what does she go and do- makes Belle doubt Anton, who is popular with the public....

They obviously care more for the lifestyle given the fact so few have left when their "partner" has despite crying about it and making notions they will...

None of them will willingly leave as they want screen time and exposure time. The whole point of going on the show for these guys. They’re all insta famous prior to entering anyway.

And agreed with Molly being a grade A game player, she forgets she had that massive argument a few days into coupling with Tommy when Maura entered. She’s always had it in for Anton after he shut her down in front of everyone a few weeks back.

Forgot about Rykard, he ended up having a long term relationship outside too so fair play. That eccentric girl Camilla was still with her guy from the show as well.

It comes from the eminem "stan", basically meaning somebody who worships a celebrity etc. It's sort of taken on a meaning of being a fan of somebody or supporting what they do.
That's where it is from! Obviously now you mention it

Molly is a little snake, definitely gone to her head being the "power" couple in the villa. Them two will win no doubt, but she is making sure the competition is thin.

Michael is a funny one, should have just walked out. I imagine that he was just caught up in the show and following rules but once she flipped out he was too proud to leave.

I think they are probably all tied in somehow and if they walk out they sacrifice potentially earnings. I read that ITV take a huge % of all publicity earnings in the first year they leave.

Anton "it's love island not friend island" talking about wanting to see the journey to the end with Michael, his friend?

This show is honestly hilarious.

Joanna is a nutcase, but so is Michael - maybe they are destined to be together.

Judging by first look, seems Ambers finally wised up to her "mates" and will actually call them out.

I would love Anna to stay in the hideaway. Hidden away. For good.

As an aside the adverts are showing Gemma Collins has a new show. How on earth is that god awful waste of space getting paid probably a decent amount of money to basically be a diva given that is what the show is called. Great representation of modern times

King Ovie. Everybody else can do one.

Newcastle lass is so annoying. Get the vibe that Ovie isn’t really into her.

The girl on a date with Ovie actually made me want to gag at how cringey she was, he deserves better.

Really liked the brunette though, she seemed fun and up for a laugh - she's really cute too.

The guy for Amber was cute, liked his accent too.

Harmless in the villa if you compare her to Anna maybe.

But the idea of 2 million young women and girls being influenced to act more like Molly Mae... what a depressing thought. No wonder the birth rates keep plummeting.
You could say the same about any young footballer, actress etc.

I dont know how long thos dates are, but Ovvie must have been internally screaming. Harley is the most annoying person I think Ive seen in the Villa in my 2-3 years of watching.

And her smile triggers me.

I’m struggling to buy into it as much this year, I know there will always have been scripting involved but it seems so much more obvious this year that i can’t even try and pretend.

I think it has become much more noticeable in the last few weeks, the Islanders are now all clearly focused on getting to the final.

Most of the lads there are too sound so there's feck all real drama as a result. It definitely feels really, really scripted. The whole Curtis Maura shite is bizarre.

Ive had to stop posting at r/loveislandtv. Was a good sub last year and the beginning of this year, but now it just feels like it's all teenage stans who know absolutely nothing about life.

Remember seeing someone claim you're 6 times more likely to commit suicide if you appear on love island. When pushed on how they found said stats, they admitted they essentially made it up and didn't have clue what they're on about.
