Basically a no win situation for Michael, all because he didn't want to be with the baby of the group. He should have just cracked on with Joanna, and Amber would have left.

After that everyone took time and talked together and Amber hasn't stopped them from cracking on together.
She's been upset, of course, but she hasn't been intentionally crying in front of them or been vindictive towards them.
In fact there was one scene where Amber was crying on the sofa, and she was feeling embarrassed and didn't want anyone to see her, and all Michael & Joanna said was that she's 'annoying' & how they can't let her 'win' ffs, it's pathetic and the voting public have clearly seen that to be the case too.
Nobody believes Michael is happy with Joanna as he was with Amber, because so far Joanna's personality has consisted of telling us how mature she is, talking about having kids with Michael & telling him to be quiet when he's talking. She brings nothing of value to the villa, even on the unseen bits.
In comparison, when he was with Amber they were laughing, joking and all over each other constantly.

Joanna is probably the most unpopular girl in the vila right now, despite not actually doing anything wrong. She's repeatedly called boring and only speaks about Joanna. That's because it's been edited to seem like that.
Furthermore every other episode is Michael and Amber having a chat where he shoots her down but 5 minutes later islanders are telling her he still likes her. Michael and Joanna did not have a chance.
I hope he leaves the island just to spite them all.
Well thats not really true. A couple of night after the fight they had their chat on the beanbags where Michael wasn't an ass, Amber got the impression that they might get back together. That got fed back to group and couple days after that, Joanna pulled Amber and Michael for chat where Amber was saying 'did that look like a break up chat'. Since then, she's been crying to the other girls about her feelings for Michael and clung on to the heart rate test in the stripper challenge so no, I don't think she and the rest of girls have not let them crack on.
She hasn't cried in front of them but that doesn't mean they are not hearing about it.
I don't think Michael was happier with Amber. You saw another example only yesterday when he didn't want any part of Amber's 'I'm still here' chat.
You could say that about all of them to be fair.
The show is edited to create narratives & characters - there's fake scenes, the favourites get more screen time, it's filled with advertisements & sponsorships etc - I think we all realise that now, surely?
Yet despite this everyone else in the house has a personality, Joanna has not.

Right the conversation was that Amber was stopping Michael & Joanna from cracking on, and it's clear that she hasn't done so intentionally.
She's cried & been upset, but that's it. She hasn't talked badly about Joanna since the 'deadting' - has complimented her a few times, and she accepts her fault in her & Micheal breaking up, i'm not really seeing what else she should've done.

No, my initial point was that they haven't been allowed to crack on because of Amber's feelings. Hence why I said Michael should have just put Amber and the group's feelings aside and cracked on. Not that Amber sitting between them but there's only twelve of them in there, so of course they'll know what Amber is saying.

Not sure what else Michael has to do to convince people he's not into Amber. I like her, a lot more than I like him, but he's not exactly been leading her on. She gets a lot of hate on there too, it just seems there is a huge following of women who "stan" or whatever the feck that means...I guess are fans of her? Strong, independent Woman who don't take no shit etc. love everything she does because it sassy or some diva quality.
