It comes from the eminem "stan", basically meaning somebody who worships a celebrity etc. It's sort of taken on a meaning of being a fan of somebody or supporting what they do.What the feck does stan meanshe comes across as very bitchy and would be the first to stab you in the back after making you think she was friends with you!

Stan. Its like a mainstream term for fanboy, originating from Eminem's Stan, who was an extreme fanboy. Doesn't necessarily have to be celeb.

Anyone else feel the show is biased to Curtis? He was having a fight with Amy who wouldn't speak to him, I wanted to see how long she would draw it out... oh no the show arranged a date for them and they kiss and make up
Now he is immune as he is with a new arrival I dont ever recall that happening in the last series which is admittedly the only other one I've watched. I think he would have been very vulnerable if able to be voted for as well

Bollocks. He just doesnt like the girl! People are struggling to wrap their heads round this, because shes quite clearly beautiful and people can relate to getting pied. But he just, doesnt, like her. Hes told her multiple times, nicely, rudely, been civil and everytime shes come back with something else, because of the other islanders. Shes been given awful advice and hes just done whats best.
None of them are threatening in fairness. They won it about 4 weeks ago.

The situation annoys me. People have seen a girl that they identify with (just because she got pied for another girl), and now anything he does he's the bad guy. Hes allowed to like someone other than Amber. He's told Amber multiple times it's not happening and other islanders keep feeding her bullshit so she just won't let it go. To the point where it actually affected his relationship. He's allowed to be pissed off and hes allowed to be blunt because nothing else seems to work on that island.
The best one was when he tried to make a mends with Amber, they had a nice chat and that should have been that. Islanders fill her head with crap, Molly Mae shit stirs Infront of Joanna. Joanna questions their chat, and all Amber can do is repeat what islanders have said to her, "Did it look like we were over?"

Barring handling the initial recouping after casa amor, Michael really hasn’t done anything wrong.
He’s told Amber multiple times that he isn’t interested in her anymore and he’s tried to do it in a nice way. However, because he has been nice all the other girls have said to Amber that he’s clearly still interested in her. They’re the ones at fault, not Michael.
Also, why would he leave with Joanna even if he did love her. Realistically, love island is probably the best summer of your life and all of the people on it are your close mates. If you really think the other person is the one, then they’d understand you waiting a couple days to get booted off for not recoupling so that you can spend a few more days on holiday with your close mates.
Molly Mae is terrible, she’s got some ridiculous moral high ground and just tries to stir trouble with the other couples.
