Anyone seen the promo for 'Happily Ever after'. Amazing Grace + Bagpipes has me a little worried. Things finally going to start happening now that Desmond is back. About time as well.

That was a good episode as all desmond episodes are....shades of "The Constant".
The general thought i got from this episode was that they'll try to change it back to the original reality. I dont see how they can do that since the island isn't there anymore.
I reckon widmore knows about the island in the alternate reality and so does his wife eloise.

Desmond episodes are fantastic! That was great.
Even when Desmond manages to show the others that they have an alternate life, even if they manage to tie the two together, i still don't see how this goes even part of the way to explaining almost everything that's ever happened on the island.
I'm starting to worry now that a lot of the mysteries of the island might just go unanswered.. Which after 6 seasons of waiting for answers would be ridiculous.

However, the whole point they went on the island was to stop them crashing in the first place. So they set off the bomb and inadvertently created the alternate timeline. But now in the alternate timeline they're trying to realise that in fact they were on an island... so what they going to do?

Finally we get confirmation that the Flashsideways aren't just 'what could have been' scenarios. My mind was going 'Get the feck in' when Des saw Not Pennys Boat on Charlie's hand. What if near the end of S6 our survivors make a deal with someone (Jacob? Smokey?) that they can start a new life without everything that has happened to them. However there are rules, you aren't allowed to remember anything from your past life or have love? Just throwing ideas around here. Eloise seemed pretty pissed that Desmond was trying to find Penny, I think the key thing she said was that it was a 'violation'. Made me think that by doing this he's breaking the rules of their new life?

The polar bear was never explained but there was a theory going round that seems very, very likely. I can't be bothered to look for the original post of it right now though.
