Television Lost: The Final Season

Well hurrah, use spoiler tags or receive infraction, pretty simple really.

wtf? some of you are stingy fecks.

it isn't a spoiler

Promos are spoilers, and you obviously knew that as you felt the need to use white text so that you wouldn't spoil anything.

You always do this, it's very annoying.

There's a difference between that and a spoiler.

Geez, no there's not.

A promo tells you a part of what happens in the next episode exactly like a spoiler does. Which is why a lot of us try to avoid the promos the best we can.

Glad I missed whatever happened in here. It is always Vida who does this as well.

I was just thinking back to one of the first seasons when Richard visited a child Locke and asked him to pick out anything that he thought belonged to him. Richard left saying that the child wasn't special. How does that all tie in?

Wasn't that in Season 4?

Isn't the knife that he chose the exact same one Flocke gave to Ben to kill Jacob? Semms little Locke was correct, there was also a picture of the smoke monster that little Locke drew, nice little tie in is that.

There's an episode this season called

Everybody Loves Hugo

Aye, it's interesting to note aswell that so far all of the centrics this season have been the same as S1, next up in season 1 is Jack and then Sun and guess what episode 6 is called?
Sundown
and then episode 7 was a Charlie centric in season 1 so that makes me think if this pattern continues that eppy 7 will be Richard centric.

And also
Judging by the promo for The Lighthouse it looks as though it definately will be Jack centric

Does it start in 15 minutes?...I've got a feed for ABC (I think) but I don't know when it's starting...should be now though right?

...I've just watched an extended trailer for the ep followed by "an all new episode of Lost - The Final season - starts........... RIGHT NOW!!"...and then straight into the ep

What the feck was the point of that? ....

Another Great Ep...See people who liked What Kate Does, that's how you make a rather banal and unimportant flash or story segment involving and dramatic. The flashes were pretty irrelevant but beautifully done I thought..

And the on Island stuff is getting propa tasty naa son!!! Hurley was great in this ep too, and Jack got to do all his faces...good stuff all round

I thought he was really good in this ep...the hissy fit at the end was a bit silly old annoying Jack though

When will we ever see this man again. This season is crying out for him.

Hopefully he's the one Jacob wants to come to the island.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it must be...And yes the last 2 eps have been proper (but then you know those 2 characters eps are always gonna beat a Kate ep...badly)...which is why I highlighted being impressed by the flashes because really..

they had feck all to do with anything, but were just well done and interesting regardless...nothing to do with mythology or any of that, just a really nice little character peice

I thought mental claire was...well, mental..I didn't get why Jin lied to her to begin with though, why didn't he say Kate had Aaron on the main land right from the get go?..Why wait till she's about to axe someone?

Haven't seen it yet. How did you folks manage to watch it? I'm in the states on work right now, but haven't got a tv in my flat yet, its killing me.

You got a link Mockney? And sounds like a good episode from what you say as well. This is torture.

I went on channel surfing.net and watched a live feed of ABC since I'm gonna be up all night working as it is...I'll try and find you one though, there are plenty about

Cheers mate !! I'm downloading it from EZTV right now but its taking forever because of a lack of seeds. I'm hearing good things about the episode from different sources. Can't wait. :nervous:

One of those links is a zShare (the last one)...you should just be able to watch it on stream from that

Good episode

Why didn't they tell Claire Kate had Aaron? She actually looks hot mental.

Who's coming to the island? Is it this Wallace character, could it be Widmore, Des?

Hurley you have some ink on your forehead

In the other dimension we're seeing the Losties get happy, Claire keeps her baby, Kate escapes, Locke stays with Peggy Bundy, Jack quits drinking, bonds with his son. Has Jacob ruined their lives in order to get/keep them on the island then just as Flocke said, certainly seems that way.

Possibly..Getting incredibly analytical for a second. During What Kate Did, one of the easter eggs is that a character is seen reading Kierkegaard's Fear and Trembling, a book about Abraham's instruction to kill his son by God, and the moral philosophical implications of doing something harmful to yourself to please the selfish whims of a higher being who may or may not know more than you....possibly alluding to such an idea. So it may be possible that...

...in the Smokey's good/Jacob's bad theory, Smokey wanting to kill them all is simply him wanting to send them to be aligned with their happy, alternative time line selves...and thus he's really the good guy

i think smokey wrote the names on the cave whilst jacob wrote it in the lighthouse.

and clair doesn't remember because she was healed in the temple which resulted in her losing her memory...she then escaped and the smokey manipulated her.

I don't get this fascination with Desmond, why are people getting wet panties just thinking about him?

Good episode that.

Seeing Jin, Claire, Smokey and Sawyer's first conversation together will be hilarious.

The sooner they tell us the relevance of this alternate timeline the better. All thats happening in sideways time would be alot more dramatic and involving once we know the reason behind them showing it to us.

Also apparently one of the names in the lighthouse was Austin according to forum chatter.

I dont think sawyer was with fake locke when he entered the tent!!

Agreed the alt timeline doesn't do anything for me and i dont see its importance. Obviously they'll tie it in with the current timeline because they wouldn't be showing it if they didn't mean to merge both the timelines.

Apparently the name linus was also crossed out and austin is #51. Check the screenshot ive posted when jack was going through the names.
