London 2012 Olympic Competition

TR,

let me get it straight. You think medals/capita statistics are meaningful, while claiming that Team GB is performing wonderfully. At the same time, you belittle Hungary's - rather disappointing, if you ask me - medal haul.

A medal haul that is better per capita in both golds and overall medals than Team GB's, China's or the USA's.

Something is not right.

If you want to have this discussion at the end of the Olympics feel free. There are plenty more medals to come for Team GB.

Something is not right about your constant bitching about Team GB.

Worry about your own country who are yet to win anything whatsoever :p

I'm Hungarian, mate, we're likely to win our 4th gold tonight and our next week should be better. I quite like Team GB, I support them in virtually every event Hungary does not participate in.

I think Team GB's doing wonderfully, but boasting about the per capita statistics is populist bullshit.

I should know, I hear the same bullshit every 4 years here in Hungary since 1992 after every disappointing olympics.

:lol:This petty argument.

Back on track- Jason Kenny into the semis in the men's individual pursuit. That French bloke looks very dangerous though.

Well now that is a surprise!

Thought you were Irish, my bad. Well that explains a few things. I am willing to wager that Team GB has a better medal to population ratio than Hungary by the end of the Olympics.

Hungary are second on the all time medal haul per capita, with Finland number one.

Pendleton on track now.

Pendleton into the quarters. Is all shaping up to be an awesome weekend for GB.

I think Team GB are doing brilliantly, as I have already said.

Ireland take note

What have Ireland or the Irish got to do with this argument?

4-0 bloody hell Murray being greedy and doing all he can to make it gold number 2 plus making sure Robson gets one as well. They are on a mission for this gold.

Wonder if Murray has ever licked Robson out?

It never seems fair when the blokes serve against the women.

Then again with Murray serving like this it doesn't matter what sex you are!

Or when Asarenka hit a second serve at Murray and he hit it straight back at her at 80 odd mph.

I would quite like to have sexual intercourse with Laura Robson.

She's no Sharapova in looks or ability. Now Kournikova back in the day:drool:
