I would say he is more focused on this, the mixed will be a bonus he knows he will get silver for that at the least.

Nah if it goes to that I can't see a 30 year old Federer conjuring up the resources to fight back. If it gets to that stage pressure will replaced by extreme confidence and momentum.
I would agree he maybe wants this one more and they are playing the favs in the mixed doubles, but how many chances will he have to be Olympic double gold medal winner.
Better hold from Murray there but he needs to keep serving more like the end of that game there to make his life easier for rest of the final.

Takes 30 minutes roughly once roof is closed for the ventilation in the court to get to right working conditions before they could play on it. So would be a 45 minute delay.
No chance. He players know how to pay lip service but this isn't one of the big pots. If this was Wimbledon Nadal would have shown up. But I'm sure Federer would love to win it regardless.
Could be the case. But I value Wimbledon much much higher. Most of this tournament is in 3 sets as well. Not devaluing the achievement should either player win but a GS is what matters most IMO.
