If Liverpool don't win the league now, Liverpool fans will devastated!
It will be over by next weekend. They beat City and Arsenal will lose to West Ham. 11 points clear of City and 12 clear of Arsenal. No way back after that.League title will be won by April.
Probably will be but will be officially won in April with many games to spare. It will be over by next weekend. They beat City and Arsenal will lose to West Ham. 11 points clear of City and 12 clear of Arsenal. No way back after that.
So it’s undeserving? Do you know how whiny that sounds. Or is it deserved. They will win the league thats written by the higher ups. Pens to get results, City with a battle against the FA the rest of the league struggling to get results consistently. Plus the Premier league needs a different winner to stop City's dominanace of it and have it like other leagues in Europe keeps everyone happy while there updating there product which came out this week.
Hopefully Salah fecks off in Jan and details their season. They're only up there because city and arsenal are shite this year.
This is just factually incorrect. The last team who had more than 31 points after 12 games were Liverpool in 19/20 when we had 11 wins and a draw. So we would've been top of the league in each of the last four seasons as well with these results and points total. They're only up there because city and arsenal are shite this year.
Finishing top of the CL table means feck all. That competition starts in March.Yeah I'm terribly worried about them this season. Think they beat both Real tonight and City Sunday too, emphasising a real stranglehold on both leagues.
...well, yes. But still means they are the most in form and beating everyone? Just proves that they are bloody good and gonna be difficult to topple. They've lost 1 game.Finishing top of the CL table means feck all. That competition starts in March.

Lazy narrative. After Sunday Liverpool will also have played each team in the top 8 bar Tottenham, and add United away to that which is never an easy game for us no matter how shit you are. They do have 9 points more than Arsenal but Arsenal had worst schedule which one club had in years. First 12 games were City, Celski, Spurs, Newcastle and Villa away and Brighton, NFO and Liverpool at home. They played against all top 8 teams already. And mostly away.

Our record at Old Trafford coming into this season's game was draw, lost, lost in the last three visits.I’d hate to see your definition of easy if you don’t count some of your recent games at OT as “easy.”
It would be preferable if a manager left a good team for the next manager, no?What does it do for Klopp's legacy if / when the human thumb swans in and wins the title within a season?
Arsenal have dropped points at home to Brighton (2) and Liverpool (2) and away to Bournemouth (3), Newcastle (3), City (2), Chelsea (2).They do have 9 points more than Arsenal but Arsenal had worst schedule which one club had in years. Not much for me, sometimes the synergy between a group of players and the manager has just burned out a little bit - think that was the case for several players and don't think it was that much different from how things went down at Dortmund when he left there. You could see the likes of Salah were a bit fed up with him sometimes at the end of his tenure, he couldn't get the best out of Gravenberch like Slot is currently doing, ...What does it do for Klopp's legacy if / when the human thumb swans in and wins the title within a season?

A more pragmatic approach will usually gain more points (Klopps more pragmatic seasons got us the most points as well) but I'd still prefer "day-to-day" entertainment over lifting a trophy on a personal level, and I loved Klopps approach to football, most of the time.
Whatever magic spell Slot put on Gravenberch should not be underrated, obviously, and he has done phenomenal in general but the spine of the team is still a Klopp team, and if anything, Klopp should be given additional credit doing most of the rebuild before he left.
Same. None of their outfield players ever seem to get injured. Only allisons injury prone and they've got a super solid no. 2.I fecking hate how good these fecking cnuts are. It makes me genuinely sick.
Yep. They’re so fecking disgustingly lucky.Same. None of their outfield players ever seem to get injured. Only allisons injury prone and they've got a super solid no. 2.
We literally have TAA, Tsimikas, Elliott and Jota injured at the moment.Same. None of their outfield players ever seem to get injured. Only allisons injury prone and they've got a super solid no. 2.
Other than “Trent”, none of those players are first choice. And you always have great backups available for them it seems. We literally have TAA, Tsimikas, Elliott and Jota injured at the moment.
Our rivals had to live with us dominating for 20 years.Every fecking year we have to live in fear of a rival winning a treble or quadruple. Cnuts.
Shhh! Let me be irrational dammit! But generally compared to us and our never ending injury crises your lot are generally luckier with injuries in the past few years. The only year I can remember where you lot had a United-esque season with injuries was the one where VVD was out for most of itWe literally have TAA, Tsimikas, Elliott and Jota injured at the moment.
He'll be the first player to get an ACL injury and play in the next match. That Konate injury didn't look good. But the way Liverpool's season is going, he'll be fine
Momentum is with them now.
