Liverpool 2024-25 | Inevitably winning a..."treble"

Hopefully everyone can get off their knees now.

This by the way has killed 'The Treble'. They can win 3 trophies but it's not the treble.

Good teams get caught very occasionally in games like that. Not ideal, but no major drama either.

Ya the love in can be a bit nauseating to be honest and even a few posters on here

It's a shitty "treble" if one of them is Carabao cup. But let's hope they get knocked out of Champions League, as well, so we don't have to argue about it

Liverpool will find it impossible to replace Salah. He's crucial in all aspects of their game. That's when I truly think their decline from the top will begin. He's the best player in the world. Like us trying to replace Ronaldo.
Then you have Trent and vvd. They may sign they may not. But they'll be hugely missed as well. Historically, Liverpool have done incredibly well in the transfer market in the past 15 years. But there are no ready made Salahs out there. It's incredibly frustrating he's got such a good injury record.

It's not a treble. They can win three, sure, but it's not the treble.

We can relax for the rest of the season.

Would be a huge disappointment considering how you guys have been playing and dominating all competitions.
Not to me. Give me number 20 in front of a packed Kop. That’s all I want.

Yes “just the league” would be a huge disappointment in a transition year we were supposed to rebuild and take a major step back after Klopp left. Feck off man, some people just aren’t serious

Mad isn’t it? Like we win titles all the time.

The commentator I had on mentioned the quadruple at least five times. People hear that and think we all talk it up too.

maybe. but we are talking about the team who forced a ref to be gay and get sacked, just to make themselves feel a bit better.

I’d obviously trade places with them in a heartbeat but today is not about this logical measured well-thought out crap.

Today we enjoy the quadruple and the real treble going away, and it means our odds of winning the FA cup go from very very unlikely to very unlikely.

@Sassy Colin treble in the thread title should be “treble”

Us winning the cup isn't very unlikely at all.

The thread title needs to be changed. The treble cannot be won without the primary domestic cup = FA cup. You can't win any random three cups/titles and call that "the treble".

The double is still on the cards for Liverpool = PL + CL

It literally says “a” treble and treble is between brackets to show that it wouldn’t be the proper one

How about “the they/them treble”?

I mean let’s face it, so many teams have been hyped up for trebles/quadruples (especially Pool in recent years) and, obviously, it just rarely happens.

Liverpool will almost certainly win the league but it’s probably unlikely they’ll win the CL - again the highest double standard is nigh on impossible.
