Still, thank feck. Thank fecking feck. A season full of undeserved points and silly dives should not win the title.

In fairness to them, they've been extremely good. Best Liverpool team I've seen in the PL by some distance. To get 97 points is an incredible achievement which makes it all the more hilarious that they didn't actually win the league.

Alas they'll be there challenging again next season, that's the sobering thing. I would put them favourites ahead of City next season as Pep has some work to do (e.g. I think Kompany is done at the highest level). This is no flash in the pan season for Liverpool like their other title challenges. This is a team on an upward trajectory and very likely to be European Champions this season ffs :(

Still, let's enjoy their misery. It's all we have to enjoy in this fuct up season

97 points, two 21 and 22 goal scorers and only one loss.

Still lose the league.

Even in their best season, Liverpool just make you laugh somehow.

So their first league since 1990 next season or City 3 in a row.. Ffs.

Now please Spurs and Poch do it in CL final and that will be a great end to the season.

Oh they've been very good, can't say they haven't. But they should be no way near City with the amount of luck that's gone their way. Annoyingly they'll strengthen their squad with really good, smart transfers and they'll be up there again.

City, I will never say this again, but thank you for saving the world. You are a bigger hero than Iron Man. The deluded bunch should never taint the trophy, never.

Been really good + Several offside match winning goals given + keeper howlers gifted them winners + city loosing few games + being ahead something like 8 points at one stage + so, so lucky = still second.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: FECK YOU POOL.

It may sound like sour grapes but there is plenty of truth to this.

They’ll sadly be back next season though and we won’t be there to stop them, that’s for sure. We’ll be relying on City again and they won’t stay motivated forever, even under Pep.

IMO It's not a great end, we are 6th and playing awful, while they are playing exciting football, finishing with 97 points and playing the Champions League final after a comeback versus Barcelona. They destroyed Barca at Anfield while we were not good enough vs Barca at Old Trafford... To be honest, I would like to see our team in their current place, being entertaining to watch, even we don't win the league.

So did we deny them the league with the draw at old trafford? I'm saying yes :)

Iirc I posted that right after that game ended, of how glorious that would be if those points we took of them will end up costing them the league

I'd like someone to go through all the controversial decisions and horrible mistakes by opponents that both Liverpool and City have benefitted from to see how much it has affected their points total.

We're crap with no hope in the future.

But at least they won't increase the gap in number of CLs with us.

This is amazing. I never thought i would see them get so close twice and mess it. Once with slippy and today hahahahahaha

Despite of how good they have been this season, they've needed crazy amount of offside goals to keep them close to city that's despite being ahead at Christmas. Hopefully with VAR, refs won't be gifting them 3 points every other game. City will improve their weaknesses again unlike the other Manchester team.

We are shit, not doubt. can't wait to see the likes of young/smalling/jones/rojo/mata/lingard/rashford/matic as starters next season.

They wont get this close again for a while. They got an incredible amount of luck this year.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone already has.
