Let's say, we play out of our skins and pull off another miracle besting Barcelona. Our reward is two heart-attack inducing, and probably very dire games with Liverpool. Urgh!

Here's hoping not.
Just booked cheap as chip flights to Barcelona.

Nice one, I hope you enjoy it. I hear the Spanish police can be right arseholes, though.

Might as well just hand Liverpool the title and be done with it. They are simply unstoppable.

They are currently leading 1-0 against Spurs (and dominating the game) watch them go on to score 3-4 more.

Never had a club had their name on a trophy like Liverpool have this year. Flukey bastards every fecking game.

By rights they should be about 10 points behind by now.

Never seen a team have more flukey stuff go their way in a season before.

F me how many times have these cnuts got dodgy goals this season.

They've got all the luck on their side. They're gonna do it and we'll never hear the fecking end of it.

But there's a conspiracy against them by the corrupt FA don't you know. Lord Ferguson working his dark magic from behind the scenes and all that.

Jammy doesn't even cover it.

It's quite bizarre because they're probably going to win it at this rate and it will really fly in the face of the 'league table doesn't lie' logic. Because frankly, City are a good level above them.

That is all the bald prick fraudiola's fault for losing to Palace at home and then losing against Leicster and fecking Newcastle. If Liverpool end up winning the league it's because city handed it to them with those results. They would have been 10 ahead now and had the league wrapped up.

Liverpools luck has been crazy this season

Be able to accept it if they deserved it but if they end up winning the league after this amount of luck, it will be difficult to swallow

Sigh. Don't even know why I bothered tuning into that game :(

Their remaining games:
Southampton (A)
Chelsea (H)
Cardiff (A)
Huddersfield (H)
Newcastle (A)
Wolves (H)

Upto Chelski now.. that or we throw our game against City.

They literally scored a goal that shouldn’t have stood and here you are talking about how lucky we are

Very brave of Klopp to go 4-2-4 to get the win, it put Spurs under too much pressure and they panicked.

I hate the word "luck"... Incompetence caused Mahrez to miss the penalty and Sissoko to miss the goal

But yeah, if you ran this season 100 times in the simulator this outcome would be a long tail event. Completely improbable.

For all their luck, City's results have been far better than theirs since the turn of the year. Can't see City dropping enough (if any) points for Liverpool to rob the title.

City play Spurs at home and us at Old Trafford.

Spurs will most likely lose. You see us rolling out the red carpet for City?

Well, that is how luck goes, its either with you or against you, all teams experience it.

Frankly, I think people are forgetting how much better City are than us. Even at our best (in our current make-up), they'll probably win comfortably.

Ball was clearly still rolling when Kane took the free kick. Doesn’t get mentioned though as it doesn’t suit the lucky narrative.

Clutching at straws. They outplayed you in the second half, don't be pathetic. The ball was almost dead when Kane passed it.

Imagine now that even after all this luck they fail to win the title.

You make your own luck in football, how may times do you see the ball go through the defenders legs into the goal? do strikers aim to do that or do they just hit in that direction and hope for the best?
